02/01/2025: Come sentirsi a casa! Tutto veramente ottimo e squisito dal cibo alla location e al servizio! Siamo stati veramente bene e non vediamo l’ora di tornarci!

31/05/2025: Visit to the village of Sangusme' and for lunch we saw this bruschetteria. Quick brunch with bruschetta (excellent) tomato and mozzarella. To return perhaps for a nice lunch or dinner.

29/05/2025: Excellent location, quality/quantity/price ratio not too high, wild boar terrine and polenta of starter size at €18, the price is too high for the quantity, staff not very attentive to the needs of the diner.

01/05/2025: Trattoria con gusti veri toscani e con salumi freschi e abbondanti. Polenta della casa con fughi porcini deliziosi. Serviti in modo veloce e attento. Grazie torneremo sicuramente

24/04/2025: Personale gentilissimo e attento, ottima qualità delle materie prime utilizzate. Ottima opzione per chi si trova nei dintorni per visitare il Parco di Pinocchio a Collodi.

21/04/2025: Oggi a pranzo sono stato, con la mia signora, da Nerone. Ottimo pranzo. Ambiente accogliente. Da tantissimi anni conosco questa trattoria, di nome, perchè quando si va a visitare uno dei paesi della Svizzera Pesciatina, le passiamo sempre davanti. Però non c'ero mai stato. Ho fatto un'esperienza piacevole in tutti i sensi. Ci tornerò molti volentieri. Vittorio Barbieri da Lucca.

11/05/2025: Came across this by chance on our trip. If you want homemade, original flavors of local Tuscan cuisine you are in the right place. Rustic and well-kept restaurant. A delicious hearty vegetarian starter. Tagliatelle with walnut pesto and a mixed cut. Flavors on another level. Exceptional house wine. It's worth the 3 hour drive from Rome to return.

18/05/2025: The atmosphere is nice, but the peposo I ordered came out in a plastic bag the size of my pinky finger, the waiter claimed it was the garlic skin, but when a dish is cooked for at least 3 hours, the skin is melted. I know this because I am a chef myself. The waiter took my plate away and they did not compensate for it. This dish, which was probably portioned and kept in the freezer, had a piece of the freezer bag left while it was being heated. Then the waiter acted towards us, which was not professional at all. Also, there was a hair in the tiramisu. Total disappointment. As places get more famous, the quality of food and service decreases. What a shame.

17/05/2025: Excellent Tuscan cuisine, dinner with my family everything was good from appetizer to dessert. The dishes of the day are a real delight, I tried the rabbit cacciatore, truly exquisite. The staff is kind and welcoming, I will definitely return

23/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato per il nostro anniversario di nozze . Il luogo é stupendo, vista incantevole così come il tramonto . Il cibo ottimo ed il prezzo interessante. La mise en place raffinata e se si ha freddo viene offerta una coperta . Lo consiglio vivamente .

23/04/2025: Truly amazing dinner! We ended up here on the advice of a local and he was exactly right: immersed in a charming village, the restaurant is very well looked after, whilst maintaining a genuine soul. Attentive and friendly service, really good food. We highly recommend it!

02/05/2025: Dirt road. Pici all'aglione that didn't taste like aglione. Rib expressly asked to show it to me but it arrived on the table, burnt hard and really bad. Sausages and ribs were actually a small sausage and 2 ribs and that was it. Side dish: dried and burnt baked potatoes, fried artichokes were actually artichokes with a sort of batter that we didn't like. Waitress absolutely not recommended, she didn't understand any of that as I was saying. At the time of payment we pointed this out but not even 1 euro discount. 131 euros with 20 euros of wine. In short, an evening to forget, perhaps we found the wrong evening but it seems strange to me that from the starters to the side dishes they were all made at random. Zero stars.

22/05/2025: This is one of our favorite restaurants in Florence. We’ve been 3 times in the last week and a half :) The service is great, friendly people with delicious food and the atmosphere is wonderful.
