11/02/2026: We were delighted to stumble across this place while in transit. It has a lovely rustic vibe with friendly and attentive staff. They use high-quality local produce that's spot on, and the filetto couldn't have been any better. Definitely worth a visit.

09/12/2025: We had lunch with a nice group of friends... and honestly the food was good... the appetizers were traditional, yes, but everything was very good and the quality products, including the cold cuts... the first courses were spectacular, the penne alla boscaiola was super... a remarkable combination of flavors, as was the tagliolini with white ragù, you could tell there was an expert hand in the kitchen! ... grilled meat for the second course, but it was average. The atmosphere was overall quiet and quite familiar, although the bill was a bit high at the end!! Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: I discovered this place completely by chance during a bike ride. I'd promised myself I'd wait until I got to my destination to eat, but then I stumbled upon this place and hunger took over. The place looks almost unremarkable from the outside, but once you enter, everything changes. Very well-kept. The owner is very friendly. I had the best tartare and tagliata of my life. All washed down with a divine Chianti Riserva. The prices are initially high, but they're proportionate to the quality. Personally, it's a place worth going to.

07/03/2026: Want to truly experience the Arezzo and Tuscan traditions, where history and culinary culture blend? An absolute must-see! A true family-run business. Since 1905, when my great-grandparents opened, they've still been working there: an 85-year-old father, mother, and children. A rare gem, perhaps the secret to a place where you can rediscover flavors I thought were lost. Traditional dishes are tasty and delicate. Ravioli with fondue and truffle and Ravioli alla Norcina are balanced and light, truly delicious. The Braised Beef in Barolo moved me to tears, it literally melts in my mouth. Chocolate and pear cake (they even book just for that! Just saying...) and cantucci with Vin Santo. Lots of substance, without any fuss. EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH An incredible experience. Arezzo is also beautiful thanks to people like you.

01/02/2026: A class apart! In a cozy and peaceful setting, the high-quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship stand out. Everything is homemade, from the bread (including the exceptional, much-loved welcome focaccia) to the desserts. Compliments to the chef. Courtesy and customer service are hallmarks. It's a shame that several dishes on the menu were sold out. The wines are excellent. Prices are a little higher than average, but justified by the quality. We'll definitely be back.

18/01/2026: For starters we ordered the croquette, it was okay, a little dry even with the mayonnaise. An addendum, the bread served was completely dry, hard and clearly stale, even after we asked for it to be changed. Same texture and taste as plastic. For the main course we ordered the Pitti with ossobuco, which tasted of absolutely nothing, the meat tasted spoiled and the seasoning was nonexistent. We also ordered the pear risotto with pecorino, which was also disappointing, it came with pure wine on top, the cheese not melted in pieces on top of the risotto, deplorable indeed. In addition, the dishes took 1 hour to arrive. Maybe it was just today, but it was truly one of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at in Italy.

30/12/2025: We returned to this osteria, which we've known for several years, and were unpleasantly surprised by the change. We ate on the veranda, which certainly doesn't have the same charm as the indoor dining rooms. The menu is very sophisticated and a bit pretentious, with limited choices and dishes that won't suit all palates. The wild boar and chocolate buttons were good, but several parts of the wild boar skewer were tough or sinewy. The grilled pasta and celery ossobuco were disappointing. The price was high for the quality. However, the service from the professional and pleasant staff was impeccable.

24/11/2025: There's no denying this place's charm: the location is enchanting, especially when dining in the garden, and the wine cellar offers superb wines (their Chianti is a guarantee) served by an impeccable and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere and service are textbook. However, I must make a substantial point about the cuisine. Although there are interesting creative flourishes, the balance is tipped too far against the customer. Portions are often too small, almost like stylish tastings, which struggle to justify the significantly higher final bill. One is happy to pay for quality and location, but leaving feeling like one paid a lot for little food leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. To be a truly complete experience, the price-to-quantity ratio needs to be significantly rebalanced to the guest's advantage.

08/01/2026: We were at this restaurant the other day, around noon. My husband, our two-year-old daughter, and I went in to ask if there was a table. The place was almost completely empty and very, very cold. We were all chilled, especially the little girl. The lady at the entrance looked at me in a snobbish and irritable way, as if we weren't "up to the task," and disgustedly said no. No alternatives were offered, no willingness even to eat quickly, not even the slightest bit of kindness or an invitation to stay warm while we looked for another seat. Absolutely nothing. My husband, who doesn't speak Italian, hadn't noticed the sign in Italian to close the door, and had left it half-open. The lady noticed immediately and literally stepped over us to abruptly close it, without a word, without a shred of understanding. She was truly rude and completely indifferent to the fact that we were freezing, and showed no sign of empathy or welcome. A cold, rude, snobbish, and completely inhuman attitude. We obviously left, and we'll never return. This is the exact opposite of what a restaurant should represent: hospitality, refreshment, and respect for people. Let me just point out that money doesn't smell, but manners do, and they are noticed and remembered. A terrible experience.
