We had lunch outside on a beautiful spring day with a breathtaking view. The quality Tuscan menu included appetizers (especially the vegetable flans), and a 10-course mixed grill with roast potatoes—a delight! We'll definitely be back, perhaps on a warm summer evening! 14/05/2026: Beautiful restaurant in the center of San Vincenzo, with a great atmosphere. We booked for three and even managed to have an aperitif with some delicious drinks. The staff were welcoming, well-trained, and very helpful. We decided to try their sushi and gyoza as appetizers, and we couldn't have made a better choice, as they were excellent. The risotto and fried fish were perfect! The portions were also perfect, and the amberjack paired with the sauce and artichoke was excellent. To top it off, although we were also very inspired by the ice cream, we decided to try their desserts and were extremely satisfied: the cheesecake was delicious, and the plating was also beautiful. What can I say, excellent food and equally excellent staff! We'll definitely be back!

04/05/2026: We decided to dine at "Conte Matto" primarily for the view of the hills surrounding its terrace. Unfortunately, however, due to the slightly chilly temperatures, we stayed inside, which pleasantly surprised us with its atmosphere. Davide and his wife, the restaurant owners, are welcoming, friendly, and attentive to their customers. Their cuisine is truly amazing, focused on flavors that envelop your mouth and leave you satisfied. It's a shame we won't be in the area in the next few days, otherwise we would have loved to return! Thank you and keep up the good work!

15/01/2026: Simply phenomenal experience. Delicious food from start to finish. Exceptional first courses, spectacular second courses, and truly mouth-watering side dishes. Everything was cooked with care, authentic flavor, and generous portions. But what really made the difference was the staff. The gentleman who served us and the lady in the kitchen were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. They made you feel at home, not just a number sitting at a table. As soon as we said we had to be at the airport at 2:30 PM, they immediately understood the situation. The gentleman who served us immediately went to the kitchen to let us know, and in no time at all, our second courses were brought to us. No excuses, no unnecessary wait, just attention and respect for the customer. We truly loved it. Incredible price for what we ate. €75 for four first courses, four second courses, three side dishes, and even coffee. Extremely high quality, very fair price, a rarity these days. We left happy, satisfied, and with full bellies and hearts. As soon as we return to Florence, we will definitely eat here again. A place that truly deserves tradition, kindness, and cuisine prepared as it should be.

03/05/2026: Good food in a pleasant setting with friendly people at moderate prices, delicious wine, even Bolgheri on the menu, carbonara simply heavenly, if we had stayed longer, this would have been our regular restaurant.

02/05/2026: I first went here ten years ago. While the staff and menu have changed over the years this place provides good food, well prepared. Its true spaghetti carbonara is currently the best I have run across in Lucca. Good traditional Luchese pastas and well prepared steaks. Nice small room ambience. One of my go to spots.

02/05/2026: Went this evening given the good reviews, the starter of cured meats and cheeses was super poor for two, the meat was good as was the spelt soup, two cantucci (which tasted old) 6 euros, disappointing service, total of everything 80 euros.... But no way!!!
