Visitata a pranzo, non affollata, si e' confermata una scelta azzeccata. La qualita' del cibo e' alta e la preparazione molto buona. Apprezzato il tagliere di salumi e i crostini, cosi come le paste ai sughi.di cacciagione e al ragu'. Amplissima la scelta dei vini prevalentemente del territorio per buoni abbinamenti piu' o meno costosi

After having lunch at it's sister restaurant the day before, this place was even better and more upscale. The wines served were fantastic. The Florentine steak was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful. Service was perfect. This was just a great experience.

La Cantinetta Di Bolgheri

17/03/2024: Walking through the hamlet, this beautiful little restaurant with seats made from wine crates caught our attention. We took a platter for two people, all with cold cuts produced by them (ham, finocchiona, porchetta), cheese, mushrooms and turmeric bombetta with lard (this too was made by them). We then added some bruschetta with sausage and stracchino and Tuscan pâté. Two excellent glasses combined. Price in line with the place.
20/02/2024: High quality of food, fantastic place but unfortunately poor service; I call the day before for a reservation which is confirmed for the 2pm shift. Before 2.40pm they can't find us a table and once seated we order a platter for two which arrives no earlier than 3.20pm. I understand very well that it was Sunday, but for us who had a timetable to respect, it took us about 2 hours just to eat a platter and drink a bottle of wine. Beautiful food and atmosphere and eating outdoors was truly lovely. Trusting that it was just bad luck, we will definitely be back soon anyway. Really excellent bottle of Bolgheri wine and coconut dessert.

27/03/2024: La Locanda del Pittore in Bolgheri is an authentic hidden gem in the splendid Tuscan countryside. I had the pleasure of tasting the delicious Topini della Franca, a dish that conquered my palate with its delicacy and refinement. But the real highlight was the beef bell, a dish that struck a chord with my taste buds with its tenderness and enveloping flavours. The welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service complete the gastronomic experience at this inn. I highly recommend anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience to stop at Locanda del Pittore.
