Don't leave Firenze without eating here!! There's a reason why they've been around since 1860. Klejandro is amazing and squeezed us in between some reservations and I am so thankful we didn't miss this dining experience. An authentic Tuscan family dining room that embraces you like family. The liver crostini appetizer was the best we had which was recommended so I was grateful I was dining with people as adventurous as me. The house chianti was delicious and we finished with a splash of limoncello. I wish we could have come back for lunch to try the pizzeria. You know there are some places you take the business card because you know you'll never forget it.. this is a keeper and I'll definitely be back!

We had some very good tortellini with ragù and one of the best Florentine steaks we have ever eaten with a side of excellent roast potatoes, truly exceptional. Satisfied with the food and less so with the slightly expensive price but overall a great experience.

A truly unique typical place. The food is excellent. Generous portions. Low prices. Always full of people, it is advisable to book. It is located very close to the covered market. The kitchen is open, you can see the chef through a glass window. Everything is very characteristic. I recommend it especially to tourists who want to taste typical dishes. I ate an exceptional ribollita and a very good stracotto. Even the wine in bulk was ok.

Great trattoria in Florence! We had six different first courses, all delicious. The Florentine steak was exceptional, side dishes and desserts were equally good. Quiet atmosphere, friendly and attentive service.
Really excellent value for money.
We will definitely be back and recommend it to those looking for real Tuscan cuisine without frills, but with substance!

Locale perfetto per chi ama la buona cucina toscana,che è offerta nel pieno rispetto della tradizione.La carne ,cotta alla brace è di una delicatezza infinita, nonché gustosissima.Abbiamo provato,nelle due sere consecutive in cui abbiamo cenato in questo locale zuppa ai ceci,bici all'agliona,patate al forno,etc.Peccato essere partiti ,ma ci ritorneremo.Qualita del cibo super.Un Grazie a Gabriele,il proprietario.Molto professionale.Consigliatissimo Voto super.Complimenti.Siamo i turisti di Salerno.Grazie per tutto

Simpatica trattoria con menù toscano e fiorentino in un centro di Firenze che si sta snaturando per la presenza asfissiante di locali rivolti soltanto ai turisti (quindi cari con piatti di scarsa qualità). Qui invece si propone una cucina con la "supervisione" di una clientela fiorentina (molti i clienti abituali) a prezzi onesti. Abbiamo mangiato porzioni adeguate e ben cucinate: da menzionare l'ottimo baccalà con fagioli e i dessert. Meno convincenti i coccoli, un po' insapori e poco lievitati, e il vino della casa a 16 euro al litro, veramente caruccio. I 5 punti sono per non aver ceduto alle lusinghe dei soldi facili a scapito della tradizione: di trattorie così in centro ne sono rimaste poche.
