An astoundingly adventurous local culinary journey - not flawless, but certainly way above average & indeed very well priced. The beautiful interior is attractively matched externally..but the selfish smokers ruin any idea of dining al fresco being either safe.Or pleasant. What a shame. As a starter we shared the listed - as a Secondi - the vegetarian ‘Fargottino di Verdure’.i It was nearly perfect..just a little lacking in fluid lusciousness. My special of the day ‘Rolle di Conogilio’ was outstanding..but again a tad light on the saucing.The near prefect roasted potatoes were only lacking in salt- easy to remedy at table! & whilst my husband’s Tagliata di Manzo main was pretty good, it too seemed just a whisker ‘too dry’ ..but the meat itself was full-flavoured & tender. We enjoyed hugely the recommended local red wine Carmignno Villa Di Cepezzana’-& coming in at a reasonable price€28 this was such a pleasure to drink we ordered to share one serve of the immensely rich Tozzetti Di Cioccolato - why is red wine SO good with rich chocolate?!!!? Alas the coffee wasn’t stellar as it should’ve been..& part of this letdown wa# surely because they were using capsules…..but somehow we were unable to get across a supposedly simple double espresso with hot milk on the side order. Try as there did it just wasn’t right. But try they certainly did! Friendly professionalism + a calmly elegant (& house Muzak- free ) environment were huge pluses meaning this seasonally- influenced culinary destination is a winner on balance..& we’re coming back for lunch tomorrow > that says it all, eh? Recommended- with a few reservations. Ps Returning for lunch was also quite nice : but the few shortcomings experienced last night were still there - & the food was not quite as good as we’d hoped. Very ‘nice’ but not quite ‘resolved’ alas .. my Cannoli de Crespella wasn’t nuanced enough to give me joy - quite bland in fact . And my husband’s Maccheroni dull’ antra was a tad lacking also. 6.5/10. Sigh.

Wonderful food, local and flavorful. Good service and beautifully presented. La Bottegaia manages to impress for a good price. Unfortunately, there are few new photos. But the photo of the dessert – chocolate stones – gives a glimpse of the presentation. Velvety smooth chocolate cubes. Very refined taste.

The quality of the food and ingredients is simply excellent! The presentation was truly exquisite and the service excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely kind. I highly recommend it to couples; the atmosphere was familiar and romantic. I found virtually no faults.

Super delicious food. Sweet and engaged waiter who asked where we were from. Really nice atmosphere and you could hear from the other guests that they were local Italians who enjoy coming here. Very reasonable prices.

Excellent food, very pleasant atmosphere, shame about the lack of friendliness of the lady (I believe the owner). Serving customers is certainly a test of patience, but being rude when taking orders and appearing annoyed by any requests/clarifications doesn't make for a pleasant experience overall. Fortunately, the other waiters were friendly.

A particularly welcoming place, with extremely attentive, professional, and kind staff. We were able to dine with vegan and vegetarian dishes, even though the menu didn't specifically allow for them, thanks to their ability to accommodate our needs. The giardiniera, artichoke rice, red onion tarte tatin, and "mamma" artichoke stuffed with bread, egg, and Parmesan were excellent. The wine list is top-notch. We were recommended a biodynamic wine, a pure Sangiovese. We will definitely be back.

We went there with friends on Valentine's Day. Everything was excellent, I highly recommend it. The waiters were super friendly and professional.
