We arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately.
The menu features Tuscan specialties cooked according to tradition.
The staff is friendly, professional, and organized.
The location is beautiful, quiet, and intimate, overlooking the hills.
The food is excellent, highly recommended; we'll be back.

Had Christmas dinner in the setting, with courteous and prompt service. The appetizers were excellent, the first courses unbalanced (gorgonzola was far too spicy and the Norcina-style sedanini lacked kick). The second courses were good, although the sliced steak was perhaps a bit overcooked. Considering the undoubtedly chaotic and busy day, my overall rating is more than positive.

A marvellous experience overall, the food was absolutely divine and the service phenomenal. Scenery unmatched and the ambiance couldn’t be made up in a movie. We did have a slight adrenaline rush getting there due to the rocky roads but turned out to be worth it!

If you want Tuscan food with a view of the Chianti region, this restaurant is perfect. We had lunch with a mixed antipasto and an excellent Florentine steak, all truly excellent. With a Chianti Classico from nearby Poggio al Sole, we paid €60.
