28/03/2025: Abbiamo trovato cortesia e professionalità in un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassata. Avevo richiesto un tavolo tranquillo e siamo stati accontentati con una sistemazione appartata, perfetta per chiacchierare in serenità. I piatti, sia i primi che i secondi, erano ottimi, così come i dolci. Un’esperienza decisamente positiva. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio senza esitazione!

21/07/2024: I went to this place with friends who knew it. The owner is very kind and attentive, as are the rest of the staff. I tasted several dishes and I can say that they were all really good and very well presented. I'm sure I'll be back to try other dishes! I would also like to add that some of the dishes mentioned below are not there, as they are part of the winter menu but have been replaced by other dishes in line with the season. Congratulations to all of you.

24/02/2025: Sunday lunch with a friend. I found this place while browsing the offers in the area, and out of curiosity I decided to try it. We ate very well, in a refined environment, in addition to a truly special service; where the customer is well advised by a trained and polite staff. Excellent quality of raw materials, traditional Abruzzo dishes with a good quality/quantity/price ratio. Places like this absolutely need to be valorised.

20/02/2025: A parte la posizione infelice il locale è molto datato e trascurato ed il menù comprende praticamente tutto dalla cucina romana alle pizze alla carne alla brace. Nulla però è curato e di qualità. La trippa era annegata nella stessa salsa di pomodoro dolciastra che poi abbiamo ritrovato con le polpette . Tutto servito frettolosamente e quasi freddo. Cacio e pepw condita con una salsa giallognola immangiabile. Costolette di agnello bruciacchiate e senza carne. Dolci da discount.

Completely different from tourist restaurants: very good food and service by Valerio, the waiter, really excellent. Recommended for stopping for lunch, you won't regret it. Greetings from Pavesi.

21/03/2025: Special food The seafood platter was great. I didn't like the picnic, it was a little tough for me, but the waiter didn't think twice and replaced it with a risotto with shrimp and it was excellent.

19/03/2025: We came for the carbonara, and stayed for the saltimbucca, which was so good my wife changed her ethics. In an area of the city where it is all too easy to fall into a tourist trap, Ristorante Arlù delivers a delightful and authentic Roman meal. Perfectly fried artichoke? Yes please. Tiramisu? I'll have two! It is a family-owned establishment and you can feel it. The conversations are lively and engaging and we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience for our first night out in Rome. Reservations are a must as the dining room is small and there are limited tables outside where smoking is quite common.

27/02/2025: We entered this place by chance, without having consulted the reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm and genuine, thanks to the kindness of the owners. In particular, the lady who takes care of the table service, as well as the owner of the place, won us over with her friendliness and her smile. We really appreciated the quality of the food: tasty and carefully prepared dishes, the prices are absolutely adequate for the offer, guaranteeing excellent value for money. Reading some negative reviews, we wondered if they were referring to the same place. Our experience was so positive that we find it difficult to believe certain criticisms and believe they are the result of misunderstandings, rather than real problems encountered in the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

08/03/2025: The place is nice and the owners seem like lovely people, they are kind and smiling. We will definitely come back because the proposals on the menu were captivating and above all tasty: we appreciated the crostini with "stracchino" and figs, the apple with walnuts and gondino, the Venetian-style tempeh, "chicken" alla cappella (obviously all vegan). I must also praise the bread and the oil, I found them both excellent.

02/03/2025: I had two incredible dinners at Le Bistrot. Daniela and Barbara are such lovely people and each of the courses was so flavourful. Honestly I am so thankful that there is a wholly vegan restaurant that I can order a well thought out 4 course meal. Their menu changed between my two visits and I went with much of their recommendations. The creativity they have in the dishes has me wanting to try and recreate a bit of the magic at home. The restaurant itself is very cute on the inside too and would make an excellent date night spot. It is worth taking the bus there and the bus stop is only a couple minute walk away. When I come back to Rome I will be sure to have dinner there again!

22/03/2025: I had dinner at this little restaurant on Via Trionfale a couple of weeks ago. I live nearby and honestly I had never thought of eating here both because of the somewhat inconvenient location and because I don't like living in the suburbs from which I prefer to escape in my free time. And instead....I would go back IMMEDIATELY. They cook excellent traditional Roman food such as fried cod, artichokes, pasta carbonara, oxtail stew and much more and it is all DELICIOUS, PLENTY AND AT AN ACCEPTABLE PRICE. A nice first course is about 9 euros and I guarantee it will fill you up. The atmosphere is simple, intimate and familiar. Not to mention the desserts. You must try the pistachio tiramisu which is better than the classic tiramisu even if I'm not crazy about pistachio. Fast and discreet service and kind and hospitable staff. I will return with the family to let them taste the tonnarelli cacio e pepe....a real delicacy! Keep it up!
