10/04/2025: Un descubrimiento casual ya que estaba buscando un restaurante cerca de donde nos alojábamos que sirve comida local. Estábamos indecisos, ya que solo había mesas afuera disponibles. Me alegro tanto de haber ido. Toda la experiencia fue fantástica, con platos muy sabrosos y un servicio extremadamente amable. Gran ambiente y precios muy razonables. Sin duda volveremos allí de nuevo en el próximo viaje a Roma y reservar con antelación!

The carbonara was SO good it was as if I had never had true carbonara, so good I immediately made a second reservation to eat here once again before we left Rome. This is the carbonara you’ve been looking for. Book in advance the place is packed!

14/05/2025: What an amazing find! My mother and I stumbled across this place around 6pm and got the last free table. By the time we finished the server was turning people away for the evening as they were fully booked, so plan ahead or come early! The food was absolutely stellar, service was so friendly and kind. Everything is so fresh and delicious. We got the smoked salmon salad and the pesto tomato pasta (they split one order into two for us).

23/04/2025: Thanks to the friendly owner and staff, I ate a lot of delicious food! There was absolutely no racism, and there was no shortage of continued interest! It was the best meal in Rome, complete with dessert :) This is a restaurant I would like to visit again if I had more time.

20/04/2025: Fantastic food. Had the duck app which was smokey and paired well with the honey. The owner, Francesco, was so nice and recommend some great wine. The truffle pasta was the best. Did enjoy the filled, but truffle pasta was the winner.

05/05/2025: One of the best pizzas we had in Rome - definitely was worth the long waiting outside! Staff was nice, and food came quickly, although they were completely full. Prices for this class of restaurant very reasonable, pizza 10-15 euro, and a liter of water only 2 Euro. We were happy and would definitely return.

23/05/2025: Il locale ha preso il posto di uno dei caposaldi della ristorazione a Trastevere, Il Comparone, ma che differenza! Le sale sono un po' spoglie, ma il punto forte delle cene turistiche a Trastevere è la terrazza, bella. Servizio molto andante, con camerieri che gridano le comande all'altezza dei tuoi orecchi: ma a Trastevere il turista prevede caciara e confusione. Il menu ripota solo una parte dei piatti: gli altri, spacciati per "di giornata" ma gli stessi per settimane, sono declamati a voce, ovviamente senza indicazione del prezzo. Sarebbe illegale, ma a Trastevere il turista non si aspetta il rispetto delle leggi. Ordiniamo tre supplì; il cameriere mi chiede se lo voglio, rispondo di no, ma poi di supplì ne arrivano quattro: ma a Trastevere il turista non pretende di essere ascoltato. Le grida di camerieri non mancano, compreso l'urlo: "ERA BBONA LA PIZZA, VEROOOO!?" a cui è difficile rispondere no; peraltro la pizza è buona veramente. Insomma, una delusione nonostante mia moglie, che ci aveva mangiato dieci giorni prima, l'avesse ben valutata: forse, proprio per questo le aspettative erano molto più alte dell'esito finale. Se siete turisti, magari andateci. Io abito a 100 metri da lì, difficilmente ci rimetterò piede

11/05/2025: Very nice setting on the rooftop of a hotel and very good food. The servers are attentive and offer good advice. Just a stone's throw from our hotel, we had a great time, it was delicious, we went back! I recommend it

06/05/2025: its name - "La Casetta" - perfectly describes this place far (fortunately) from the taverns besieged by tourists and serving tourist meals, in fact. Family environment. Very friendly staff. Exceptional dishes. Very reasonable prices (typical Roman first courses €9...) Recommended!!!
