27/08/2024: Beautifully decorated interior and very cozy on first impression. Booked for early dinner reservation. Food: We ordered the tasting menu "sea" and "truffle". The truffle menu was 90% delicious, and also extremely filling. Come with a large appetite. A few of the small bites were okay but not to our taste. The sea menu was not nearly as good as the truffle menu. I would have ordered the land one instead. They also offer you complimentary glass of wine, appetizer, and dessert bites. They even give you a gift of olive oil which was a very nice touch. You could tell they were really trying to win you over, which I appreciated. Service: Impeccable. Staff seemed to take every detail very seriously. Well-trained and very formal. They even email you a small recipe book which is just an extra touch to remember them by. We left stuffed and happy with our experience.

09/08/2024: Delicious food and a very friendly atmosphere. We ate lamb and gnocci alla Enzo de pome. The first course was large and well done. The second one is great. Delicious sauce and soft tail meat. I definitely recommend it!!

08/08/2024: I have never had better carbonara in my life. The Pinsa Diavola and bruschetta con ricotta e Pomodorini Secchi were made perfectly and tasted delicious. The owner was amazing and very welcoming. If I ever return to Rome I will be eating dinner at Mastrociccia my first night back.

30/07/2024: Everything delicious. We tried Santimbocca, a typical Roman dish, which is like a breaded steak with ham, delicious. And the pasta is also very delicious. Plus, it has air conditioning!

16/08/2024: Additional star with the wonderful closing with delicious tiramisu! To my liking, it doesnt taste too alchoholic,the cream are fresh. The pasta is nicely done. The staffs are efficient. I love their kind of sparkling water.

05/09/2024: Well, the service and atmosphere are great, no complaints there. But I go to restaurants to eat, and their food fell flat. I ordered the spaghetti with clams, and it was an absolute disappointment—completely tasteless. It was like eating plain noodles with zero flavor. The smoked salmon was decent, but honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up smoked salmon. If that's the only thing you can get right, you've got a problem. Overall, the food did not live up to the hype, and I left feeling pretty let down.

06/08/2024: Nice place, old homemade tavern. Everything exquisite and top quality. Wonderful desserts like Nutella and gold cake, first choice meat and truly incredible side dishes for all of us vegans. The wine and appetizers such as fried foods and platters are also excellent. Friendly and very engaging staff. Large nearby car park. External terrace for outdoor dining.

14/08/2024: I gave the service three stars due to the lack of attention at our table. However, the manager ILaira went above and beyond to rectify the poor service we received. She showed empathy as she professionally addressed our concerns. I would highly recommend this restaurant for their food and ambiance.

14/08/2024: Food and experience was great. Servers were very nice and accommodating. We initially wanted to eat outside but were uncomfortable with the bees before sunset.

21/08/2024: Boneless chicken leg —— Generally everything we ordered was delicious but boneless chicken leg deserves the crown. We went here twice during the lunch time as it does not require reservation —— try to get there around the noon to secure a table. As a Milan fan, sitting in a restaurant with Rome decorations is quite strange but the food tells all. This restaurant is now run by the daughter of the ex-player and starred chef. She is super professional and energetic towards guests. Even though it attracts a lot of tourists as well, it keeps a great extent of the local atmosphere. As it is quite small, you can also see the cold cuttings and dessert preparation in the dining hall, which adds a little bit homemade taste. The only minus we had was that the waitress spilled the dish oil on my spouse’s white T-shirt.

25/08/2024: We came a bit early, we were the fist couple arrived that evening, the host and staff were very friendly, Amazing seafood, highly recommended the tuna tartar, Eski oyster, grilled fish. Also very fresh scampi. The staff recommend a very good taste wine at reasonable price . The best Italian seafood restaurant in Rome!
