As we strolled by, we sat down, drawn by some dishes coming out of the kitchen. We were worried it might be a touristy place, given the location, but the dishes were all excellent and authentic.
For appetizers, we had beef tartare with mustard sauce and grated egg yolk (a must) and citrus-marinated salmon. For the first course, egg pasta with lamb ragù with lemon and mint (super delicate). Then, pluma hiberica, potatoes, and vegetables. Finally, panna cotta and a freshly fried hot bombetta. Everything was truly excellent and the price was fair. The staff was very helpful and attentive.
We were very satisfied and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, the staff were very attentive, and the owner was very friendly! He offered us an aperitif and a digestif.
He speaks several languages, which makes communication easy.
I highly recommend it.

Today I had the pleasure of eating at Al Passetto di Borgo, recommended by a friend. The wait was well worth it, the service was excellent. We had some of the best Roman first courses, including the oxtail stew, and to finish, the cream-filled bombetta! The place is truly well-kept, with an open kitchen. The location, Borgo Pio, is truly amazing!
