02/08/2024: Maybe 4,5 stars, but for very tiny details! FYI: This review is a year late. I'm sorry :') I had the octopus salad and the onion ravioli and they were both delicious! There were veeery tiny problems. The skin of the octopus was a bit too soft, therefore a bit slimy for my taste, but this might just be the way they prefer it, other than that it was cooked perfectly! Similar thing with the potatoes, slightly undercooked but again, maybe they make it al dente on purpose :) Other than these, which are again, small issues, it was very good, the flavour was amazing. Also fyi: this is a hot salad. The ravioli was incredible! It was cooked perfectly, obviously. Would love to have it again some day. The only small issue was that the cardamom was spread unevenly, what I mean is that some of the raviolos had a very intense cardamom flavour while others had very little. But again, this is a very small issue. I truly loved this dish! I went to this beautiful restaurant because it was very close to my hotel and I'm glad I did it! The ambiance was so nice too.

16/07/2024: Poor service. Dishes we ordered were barely edible but tasted horrible. The matrons attitude was even worse than the horrible food. We thought we could count on a 2019 Michelin but clearly we were mistaken. Things must have taken a nose dive. Don’t waste your time and money.

09/08/2024: First of all, the food is delicious, but when you get a lasagna that looks like spaghetti and you tell the waiter something and nothing changes and then you ask for a tip, everything has been said.

06/08/2024: Reviews on here were divisive, so I thought I'd chip in: this is a great restaurant. We are a British family of four, and the choices were great, the food was tasty, the atmosphere perfect (no loud music. Other reviews on here say "rustic", I'd probably say unpretentious, comfy). The service was attentive, swift, friendly - the people working here really seemed to care. The prices are completely reasonable for the centre of Rome. Anyone complaining needs to get some perspective. And the house red was great. Would happily eat here every night

07/08/2024: Suggeritomi da un abitante del posto - scovato, per caso, tra la moltitudine dei turisti che giornalmente invadono Trastevere - con mia moglie, sono andato in questo posto che dall'aspetto esterno dimesso (in verità, anche gli interni sono assai modesti ma, comunque, puliti ed anche i servizi) non mi ispirava fiducia ad entrare. Ciononostante, ho voluto provare e quello che che mi era stato anticipato, l'ho ritrovato a tavola. I primi, preparati al momento da una brava e cortese cuoca, una cacio e pepe e una carbonara, erano davvero squisiti ( l'uovo nella carbonara non era invadente e la cacio e pepe cremosa) e le porzioni generose. Lo spezzatino con i fagioli era molto buono, lo raccomando. Il servizio informale ma attento e cordiale, unitamente ai prezzi che sono nella media per quel luogo turistico, suggeriscono di andarci, alla stregua di tanti abitanti della zona che, da avventori abituali, lo frequentano. Non ho dato il massimo punteggio perché il menù non prevedeva gli antipasti e l'arredo della saletta è essenziale e molto datato....anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte...

17/08/2024: Buono tutto, dalle polpette spsttacola6e gustose , ai primi golosi ed abbondanti, alla carne, e per finire arciofi e cicoria. Mai rifiutare il tiramisù: buonissimissimo.

21/07/2024: Plats minimalistes sans aucune fantaisie ni saveur ! Entrée apéritive très banale avec charcuterie suintante, un peu d’ebly… Lasagnes au citron insipide (je m’attendais quand même à un peu de viande pour le prix ! Très cher pour de la pasta avec béchamel au citron) Pâtes à la carbonara sans carbonara avec viande grasse et sans goût ! Et surprise ! Ils font payer les couverts 5 euros pour deux personnes (et je n’avais qu’une fourchette pour manger mes pâtes ! Bref, du vol ! À fuir à toutes jambes ! Ils vivent sur leur notoriété d’il y a 20 ans ! Ultra cher pour des plats très banals avec les quantités d’un restaurant gastronomique ! Nous n’y retournerons pas, cela est certain ! Seul le cadre et la vue valent le coup pour la note positive.

29/06/2024: Fatal, llegamos un grupo de 8 a cenar , pedimos 8 cervezas y solo nos traen 6 porque no tienen más y calientes, las devolvemos y encima nos cobran 36 euros, la comida normalita , no volveremos

03/09/2024: It's been 1 hour since I finished eating in this "restaurant" although I don't think it deserves this name for a lot of reasons that I will detail: terrible service, but not from the waiters, the poor people had enough to put up with their boss, a man of about 60 years old, who did nothing but give them orders in a bad manner. This man does not serve you the dishes, but rather throws them directly to the table. The food is not bad, it is nothing to write home about but it is the only saving grace. The "service" seems a little expensive to me, €2 per person to provide you with a plate and some cutlery. In addition to this, we asked to pay with a card and he told us that we couldn't (of course this wasn't stated anywhere) for one of us to go to an ATM, who knew where it would be, to withdraw money. At the same time, the people who were eating there all had the same hallucinating expression as us. In short, I do not recommend it at all. As of 09/03/24

03/09/2024: Food not great, terrible service. The waiter has an awfull atitude. Indeed they changed owner and the place its not what it used to be. It's really a shame. Are nice to locals and rude to tourist. I also made the mistake of not reading last reviews.

19/07/2024: Delicious food at a good price. Service was good but not all of the staff spoke English. Would definitely recommend!

15/07/2024: It was a really bad experience. My sister and I sat down to eat pizza. We told them we wanted to order only one pizza because two would be too much. Someone in charge came from inside and said that this was not a fast food restaurant and that we had to place separate orders. When we said we couldn’t finish two, they said it didn’t matter and that we still had to order two pizzas, even if one went to waste. I had never encountered such a reaction in other places before. It was clear that their goal was not to satisfy the customer but just to make money. When we explained this incident to the waiter at another place before sitting down, they were very surprised and told us that we could order however we wanted.

02/06/2024: Such a pity! Tonight for dinner my boyfriend, my family and I wanted some pizza. We received crushed mozzarella sticks to the palate, rubbery pizza dough with raw and sour sauce and finally I had asked for a margherita with raw meat but I thought they ate it 😂, I repeat, it's a shame because the staff is very professional and friendly, I'm sorry but never again!

12/05/2024: Location molto carina, su una sorta di terrazza tra gli alberi in cui si sta benissimo. Antipasto buono. Mentre le paste niente di che: in particolare i tagliolini con funghi porcini che ho trovato veramente poco entusiasmanti. Non cremosi ma a “zuppetta” come si può vedere nella foto e anche il tagliolino aveva una consistenza strana. Non sapeva di nulla. Amatriciana molto casereccia, buona ma niente di che. Salsicce e contorno invece buoni. Tutto sommato i prezzi non sono eccessivi e il personale è gentile quindi complessivamente è stato un pranzo piacevole,

02/07/2024: Cibo buono ! Affettati buoni , carbonara abbondante e strepitosa! nonostante fosse quasi tutto pieno il servizio è stato velocissimo ! Il cameriere sempre disponibile professionale e gentilissimo . Unica nota negativa la maleducazione del proprietario che non sa neanche la differenza tra una ricevuta fiscale ed uno scontrino oltretutto facendo il sapientone maleducato ! Scortese all’ennesima potenza ! Ora replicherà che non è vero già me lo vedo .., prima e ultima volta!

02/07/2024: Good food ! Good cold cuts, plentiful and amazing carbonara! Even though it was almost full, the service was very fast! The waiter is always available, professional and very kind. The only negative note is the rudeness of the owner who doesn't even know the difference between a tax receipt and a receipt, moreover acting like a rude know-it-all! Rude to the nth degree! Now he will reply that it's not true, I can already see it..., first and last time!

13/07/2024: I have never eaten such good gricia cooked to perfection with a sublime cream, the same goes for my wife's carbonara. In this place you take a dive into the past, note the still working refrigerator from the fifties/sixties. I had a good time and will definitely go back.
