03/12/2023: Homemade food and lots of rusticity. Place for those looking for genuine products, cooked with experience and passion. The service could be improved, a little slow but recovering in friendliness and kindness. Recommended if you like to eat in a homely and authentic environment.

01/03/2025: This was our second visit to Rome and we were staying near the Vatican. We decided to try this place because of the friendly and welcoming server outside. Once inside, we were greeted by an older gentleman who took our umbrellas and showed us the table. At this point, only two tables were occupied, ours being one. That we could see. The older gentleman quickly took our drink order, although we couldn't find a beverage list so we ordered what we saw was available, wine. To get to the point, the food was delicious, no complaints there. The prices I expected for the area, a tad high from other places. What I didn't expect was to be treated differently than the two tables that came after us. The older gentleman was so welcoming and engaging with them, but with us, he was terse and to the point. I've never felt rushed at any place in Rome, but today I did. As I'm drinking my glass of wine, he clears our dessert glasses and coffee cup and asks, "Do you want something else?" I said, "No." He immediately brings the bill and walks around until I place my credit card down. Once he runs it, he barely mustards a prego as I say thank you. Before we sat down, I asked the welcoming server how late they were open because I don't like being the person that's the last to dine. He said we are open. If the welcoming server had been ours through out the dining experience, no problem. The older gentleman is not so nice, in my opinion. We are American and we did order a side dish of fried potatoes with ketchup, but we also paid 70€ for our meal. I just got an off putting feeling from him. I didn't leave a tip. Not ashamed.

31/03/2025: Sono stata pranzo oggi in questo ristorante per motivi professionali Ho chiesto una bistecca per 2 persone e mi hanno mostrato la carne in cella. Ho scelto il mio taglio e chiesto un bistecca da dividere che pesasse al massimo 1 kg perché io non avevo molto appetito Non c’era scritto il prezzo al kg ma solamente la provenienza di ogni taglio Non mi è stata pesata e fatto verificare il peso alla bilancia Mi hanno fatto pagare esattamente 1000 gr per 120,00 euro/kg di carne (dubito che sia stato così preciso il ragazzo nel taglio …) Ma quanto siete furbi ???

24/03/2025: Location interna gradevole nell’estetica, alti soffitti, esternamente localizzata vicino all’Obelisco all’Eur, in Roma. Piatti buoni e gustosi con servizio buono. Prezzi moderatamente alti ma adeguati al locale. 3,9/5 complessivi

08/03/2025: Sono stata in questo locale accogliente, per una cenetta, insieme a mia figlia. Personale attento e gentile, atmosfera familiare. Abbiamo gustato seppie con carciofi e petto d' anatra, piatti ottimamente confezionati! Consigliatissimo!

06/04/2025: Typical Fraschetta di Ariccia, small place, service to be perfected, the courses did not arrive at the same time for all the diners, first courses served intermittently. Overly seasoned side dishes (sautéed chicory and pan-fried porcini mushrooms) with salt, there is room for improvement. HONEST account.

28/02/2025: Esta fue una de las peores experiencias gastronómicas que hemos tenido. La comida era sosa, demasiado cara, y claramente no se hizo con ningún cuidado. Pero el verdadero problema era el servicio: el camarero, después de preguntar por nuestra nacionalidad, se volvió abiertamente hostil cuando no dejamos la propina que esperaba. ¿Su reacción? Insultos, incluyendo comentarios racistas. Ningún lugar que trate a los clientes de esta manera merece permanecer en el negocio. Trastevere tiene algunos restaurantes fantásticos, este NO es uno de ellos. Quédate lejos.

24/03/2025: …a casa mia si mangia meglio. Location molto accogliente situata in un bellissimo scorcio di Ostia Antica, servizio veramente caldo e rapido, con personale gentilissimo che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. La qualità del cibo però non è stata altrettanto buona: tutto piuttosto semplice e ‘piatto’, niente di ‘cattivo’ senza nulla che meriti di essere riassaggiato. Peccato perché le molteplici recensioni positive avevano creato un’aspettativa abbastanza alta.

12/04/2025: The three-way artichoke starter was sensational; I've never eaten anything like it before; it was delicious. The 500g T-bone steak was delicious. The service was a bit abrupt. The restrooms were horrible, broken; the faucet was practically falling out of the wall, and the soap dispenser was broken.
