19/06/2025: I highly recommend a regenerating break in this historic bar...always fresh, exquisite products and courteous and fast service...in a 50s atmosphere that lets you breathe that pleasantly retro air.

05/06/2025: I stopped by Benaco while wandering around the neighborhood. Most of its customers are local. It offers a wide selection of pre- made food, including pasta, pastries, salad, and some cooked veggies. A convenient place to stop by for a quick lunch or drink

25/05/2025: May 2025 I change the 1 star review Disappointed The place is closed... May 2024 I re-evaluate the review. Leaving the 2 year old one. The staff is not very attentive in serving the dishes, in my opinion they panic when the place is a bit crowded. I give 5 stars for the location for being in a town it is very welcoming, I would also say reserved. The review I make I evaluate what I ate based on taste and price.. 5 stars for the appetizer of the tavern is very good rich and varied.. 5 stars for the Pinsa very good and rich. 4 stars for the first courses all good, for my tastes very salty, I recommend having the chef notify for those who do not eat with salt. 4 stars for the tiramisu made by them very good. Prices normal compared to the restaurants I have been.

11/08/2025: We went to this restaurant based off of the recommendations from online reviews and Anthony Bourdains travel series. THIS IS NOT the restaurant that people are recommending. While appearances on the outside are the same, the sign above the door still reads Trattoria Settimio and the website and phone number still read Trattoria Settimio, once we were sat down we realized the menu and place mats had a different restaurants name. Not till after did we see a lone review that noted that the restaurant was sold and has changed hands. Food and service was decent but it seems that they are using the likeness and reputation of the Anthony Bourdain recommendation to garner customers.

13/04/2025: Classic restaurant of good Roman tradition, well-kept and with attentive and discreet staff. Well-made dishes that reflect the typical Roman cuisine. Prices appropriate to the offer.

13/06/2025: There was 4 of us looking for a nice restaurant for our last night in Rome. I found this one - excellent rating. When we eventually found it, we had to queue for about 10 minutes, then seated down the side of the restaurant (first reaction was that it seemed out of the way). We all ordered our meals and drinks, my husband got his first (a pizza), then about a minute or two later, spaghetti bolognese arrived for one of our friends. About 2 minutes more, my mushroom ravoli appeared. We were still waiting for one meal (beef steak strips) - that appeared 12 minutes after the first dish had arrived at the table. The steak was requested to be medium, and it appeared to be rare to medium rare - accompaniments of potatoes and rice were cold. My husband complained a couple of times and the wait staff seemed afraid of confront. But after asking for the bill, we noticed that the steak and a dessert had been comped. Definitely won't be going back, if we go back to Rome.

13/06/2025: Who’s writing these reviews?! Did we go to the same place? This is essentially Olive Garden in Italy. Have you Alfredo pasta and baked potatoes surrounded by zero Italians. The service is bad. The food is very bad. The drinks are tasty but this isn’t a bar. There’s so many other places to eat in Rome, let this be the review you believe

02/07/2025: Accoglienza e discreta cucina, buona la porchetta, antipasto un po’ ridotto. Ultimo come posizione tra le trattoria in un posto molto particolare.

26/08/2025: A dinner to forget. Our first mistake was not knowing about the all-you-can-eat formula, as we're not big eaters. But even if we wanted to get over that, they weren't at all flexible with changes (even the small request to omit cheese on at least one entree). The staff was inattentive; we ran out of water and had to ask for more several times, not even to clear the plates! With every course, he asked us to help because he was alone and couldn't do everything himself: clear the plates, pass the plates, and then the forks. Plus, his rude tone, which we could probably get over, was also because he wanted to be friendly, but for us, he wasn't. But if I have to clear the plates, I'm staying home!

23/08/2025: Food gray average. Price does not match quality. It did not disappoint, but it did not amaze either. The disappointment was that the tablecloth was dirty

23/08/2025: What can I say... as a carbonara lover and having been to many restaurants, this one at first glance didn't give me much confidence, but then I changed my mind. The staff was kind, courteous, and polite, the food was delicious, the pasta was very well cooked. I'll be back! Highly recommended!! 🇦🇱🇽🇰

07/07/2025: Vine a Italia de vacaciones. Vine a este restaurante para tener una agradable cena junto con mi familia. Pedí una pizza Margherita y para mi sorpresa su presentación fue un desastre. Tenía muy poca cantidad de mozzarella y algunos quesos normales. Su base no estaba bien cocinada como otros restaurantes Italiano . Otro miembro de la familia tomó lasaña. La porción era más pequeña de lo normal y no contenía muchos ingredientes. ¡Qué experiencia tan desastrosa! Cuando fui a pagar y mi tarjeta fue rechazada, los camareros se miraron entre sí y se quejaron (fue solo un error de PIN) ¡Éste no es un auténtico restaurante romano! Esto es una falsificación.

03/07/2025: Lindo y pequeño lugar al lado de Piazza Del Popolo. Precio medio y menú extenso. El minestrone era generoso y fresco. La pizza tiene una auténtica corteza fina y crujiente. El personal fue muy amable e hizo todo lo posible para que nos sintiéramos bienvenidos y cómodos.
