The staff are very friendly and make you feel at ease. The menu is extensive, and the prices are fair. Authentic Roman cuisine. Next time, I'll try oxtail stew and tripe. Unfortunately, they were still being prepared today.

A wonderful and delicious experience of typical Roman cuisine. The staff, including the owner, were extremely kind, and the food was plentiful and high-quality. We dined with friends, but we had to say no to the kitchen because of the quantity of dishes we received; they were so tasty and generous. Special praise goes to the chef, who served us with such warmth and friendliness. We'll be back as soon as we're next in Rome. Highly recommended.

i tried Darbottarolo restaurant after hearing a few good things, and it actually lived up to the hype. The pasta tasted really fresh and flavorful, like it was made in-house, and the portions were just right—not too heavy but still filling. The place had a relaxed vibe too, so it felt easy to just sit back and enjoy the meal without rushing.

A warm and welcoming location... respectful of Roman culture... the food is divine... beyond the generous portions, their delicacy and immense flavor shine through... a special mention must go to the manager, Antonio... a delightful, kind, and overwhelmingly charming person! Moral of the story: chapeau!

08/03/2026: We had lunch on Sunday. The place was excellent and the owner was very friendly. Visit and try the Roman cuisine.
03/03/2026: Tuesday, 21:00, we just arrived at a rented apartment and went to eat nearby. The place was silent and empty. It smells of washing powder and burnt oil. For 16€, we received only a portion of 5 meatballs, and for 14€, a portion of pasta. So price-wise, it was disappointing. The taste was okay, but I would not recommend the overall experience.
