This is such a gem. We walked up on this more quiet street, away from the shopping area and struck gold. Not only was the food amazing, pasta on point and everything you expect from Italian food, the service was so sweet and happy to share of their local knowledge and life stories.

26/06/2026: After eight years, I'm back at Arcano. When you enter, you're captivated by the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, a contrast to the bustle and crowds of the narrow streets outside. Even though it's changed little in all these years, the decor never feels old or shabby. The service is always excellent, punctual, and never intrusive. A tip: among the many well-prepared dishes made with top-quality ingredients, I recommend trying Arcano's cacio e pepe. It's truly delicious, and unlike many trattorias and places renowned for this dish, which I've practically visited while working in Rome, I insist on saying it's truly excellent. My compliments to the wonderful lady who continues to run this lovely place impeccably. See you soon...
