07/10/2025: The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The very loud music was a distraction.
02/10/2025: A rich menu, decent service, good dishes, but a lot of mistakes... the red wine was served ice-cold and cheap (full of sulfur), a little bone in the porchetta almost made me lose a tooth, and then I'll tell you this... during payment I joked, "Was there pancetta or guanciale in the amatriciana? Because there was no trace of either." The funny thing is that the owner was so focused on the word pancetta that she didn't hear the second part of the sentence, and continued to ignore it, thinking I'd provoked her.
Now maybe she has time to read it here: THE AMATRICIANA WAS PASTA WITH TOMATOES. YOU HAVE TO THROW A DOZEN STRIPS OF BACON

13/07/2025: First course: linguine allo scoglio, very well made and delicious. The appetizer was good, but I had a small complaint about the octopus and potato salad (too much celery and not enough octopus and potatoes). The service was excellent, with very friendly waiters, especially the owner's son, who offered us a delicious shortino (a pasta dish made with licorice and herbs) (not at all heavy or light). The atmosphere was great.
12/07/2025: Excellent traditional Roman dishes. A welcoming, family atmosphere! Fast, friendly staff! I recommend it for an evening of good food and good company.

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

03/08/2025: A simple and elegant place without being pretentious, with knowledgeable and very friendly staff and delicious food: an excellent choice for experiencing Roman cuisine with some truly interesting twists.
I definitely recommend it to Romans and non-Romans alike.
01/08/2025: The owner was rude when we said we wanted to leave because we didn't like it here, she wouldn't let us because we had a reservation and had to stay or she would charge us, the food was disgusting, mold on the ceiling, the pastries are beyond comment. Avoid this place.

14/10/2025: I ordered lamb and they brought me steak with mushrooms. I don’t even eat mushrooms. When I pointed out it wasn’t what I ordered the waiter apologised but didn’t offer to change it. I didn’t want to make a scene so I just left it.
Then when it came to pay they charged us almost double for the dish I didn’t even want. When my wife noticed and pointed it out she was told “what do you want me to do about it”. She felt completely dismissed. She’s not a tourist and lives in Rome which somehow made it even worse. When I complained they treated it as if it was my mistake and gave me ten euros back (not even the difference).
I’ve been coming here since 2016. I’ve had some amazing nights here, even once came with Gigi Proietti, and I’ve taken every friend who’s visited Rome here.
Alas, it’ll take a lot for me to go back. That was one of the worst examples of service I’ve ever had, especially from what used to be my favourite restaurant in Rome.
Hurts me to write it.

12/09/2025: Delicious food, very friendly service. I recommend the Limoncello Spritz for an aperitif. We had Italian ravioli in various varieties (mint with lemon, ricotta with tomatoes) and gnocchi with basil and tuna – all delicious!!!
The desserts were excellent! I recommend it!

03/10/2025: Infinite disappointment!! I brought my friends but regretted it. The zucchini flowers were flavorless and had too much batter. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe had neither cheese nor pepper!
02/10/2025: I ordered a plate of spaghetti cacio e pepe, and the pasta arrived dry and tasteless. The service was rushed and inattentive.
