14/10/2025: I ordered lamb and they brought me steak with mushrooms. I don’t even eat mushrooms. When I pointed out it wasn’t what I ordered the waiter apologised but didn’t offer to change it. I didn’t want to make a scene so I just left it. Then when it came to pay they charged us almost double for the dish I didn’t even want. When my wife noticed and pointed it out she was told “what do you want me to do about it”. She felt completely dismissed. She’s not a tourist and lives in Rome which somehow made it even worse. When I complained they treated it as if it was my mistake and gave me ten euros back (not even the difference). I’ve been coming here since 2016. I’ve had some amazing nights here, even once came with Gigi Proietti, and I’ve taken every friend who’s visited Rome here. Alas, it’ll take a lot for me to go back. That was one of the worst examples of service I’ve ever had, especially from what used to be my favourite restaurant in Rome. Hurts me to write it.

06/10/2025: The food here was beautiful, we don't speak any Italian and the lady was very helpful with the menu.

11/09/2025: A quiet place, prices are average for other trattorias in Rome, at least the ones I've tried. The dishes are good, with starters and main courses as they should be, so I recommend visiting if you're in the area because it's worth it, very good.

07/10/2025: The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The very loud music was a distraction.

02/10/2025: A rich menu, decent service, good dishes, but a lot of mistakes... the red wine was served ice-cold and cheap (full of sulfur), a little bone in the porchetta almost made me lose a tooth, and then I'll tell you this... during payment I joked, "Was there pancetta or guanciale in the amatriciana? Because there was no trace of either." The funny thing is that the owner was so focused on the word pancetta that she didn't hear the second part of the sentence, and continued to ignore it, thinking I'd provoked her. Now maybe she has time to read it here: THE AMATRICIANA WAS PASTA WITH TOMATOES. YOU HAVE TO THROW A DOZEN STRIPS OF BACON

03/10/2025: Too bad it's closed on Wednesdays. I stopped by this week.

14/09/2025: The food was bad and the prices were too high for a trattoria (€14 for a plate of gnocchi). The wait for food was two hours. To justify the delay, the owner blamed the waitress Roberta, who obviously couldn't handle all the tables, both inside and outside, on her own. To apologize, the owner offered a mere discount of less than 10%. Terrible experience!

08/08/2025: A wonderful experience having lunch here. I was able to enjoy delicious pasta outside, while taking in the tranquility of a beautiful neighborhood like San Lorenzo. Excellent service and prices.

04/08/2025: A vintage restaurant tucked away in the heart of San Lorenzo. Excellent value. The staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommended: the house specialty, a mix of vegetables, sausage, and wood-fired cheese... simple and delicious!

The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, with a warm Italian charm that makes you feel welcome the moment you step inside. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring everything went perfectly throughout our meal. Andrayano was very polite and helpful choosing the meals

01/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, fresh food, dream carbonara, excellent meat, excellent service!

23/10/2025: The appetizer, with a few slices of salami and prosciutto, was all mediocre and limited. The first courses were forgettable! Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms was completely tasteless, with no mushrooms at all. The flavor and quantity were excellent. The mezze maniche all'amatriciana were either undercooked or the pasta was poor quality, too hard! The cake was tasteless, almost dry, with no filling whatsoever, perhaps a thin layer of cream that was barely noticeable. Absolutely worth avoiding! The reviews said so, but it was convenient and we thought management had changed, but it's all true, worth avoiding immediately.
