Nice place, inside and also outside. Inside, you can order the displayed food in the cooling boxes, which will then land on your plate in front of you and your taste buds will say "yuppie". We had excellent Spaghetti Carbonara, bean soup and very good coffee. The male staff could smile at times :-), but they were professional and we didn't miss anything.

Typical Roman trattoria with typically Roman staff. No or almost no tourist concessions. Delicious carbonara but in general all first courses. In 3 days in Rome we returned twice. Good value for money. To try or to return several times.

We ordered pizza to go two nights. That's all. But they were very good. Well attended and fast. Highly recommended

I have yet to have a bad meal in Rome and this place is no exception. With its old fashion appeal, time-stained walls, and picnic-styled tablecloths, the restaurant displays a simple yet enticing allure. The food was amazing; however, my one critique is the lasagna portion is not big enough. We ordered three lasagnas and one fettuccine with tomato basil sauce. The lasagna was delicious, don’t get me wrong, but it left me wanting more. The fettuccine, on the other hand, was piled high and plentiful. With a vacancy in my stomach, I settled for a caffe latte. Honestly, they have the best cafe latte I’ve ever had in Rome. On this rainy day it was the perfect mix of warm and comfort with a creamy, soft finish - very soothing. Overall, this was a good find with great food. Just remember, if you’re hungry avoid the lasagna or get two for yourself. Enjoy.

Rated March 2024. Old style restaurant, operated by a bunch of elderly men, which equates to not such an express service but a warming atmosphere. Had to come revise my review after going a second time. The first time we had good napoletana pizza and ravioli. The tiramisu was the best we had. The second time though, the fungi pizza we got had a very soggy base and the baked eggplant tasted old and greasy, like reheated in a microwave. Very disappointed, as we enjoyed it so much the first time.

Great carbonara, and dessert to repeat

I came back after 25 years and it's still as good as then!

Antipasto di parmigiana di melanzane … fettuccine fatte a mano con sugo di cinghiale in bianco .. straccetti e torta della nonna tutto col sapore della genuinità … ambiente di una volta e camerieri gentili e disponibili .. da tornarci
