Solid spot for lunch after an exhausting Vatican tour!

A wonderful and welcoming place, excellent service, everything perfect. We loved it, and when we return, we'll definitely be back.

The food is very good, it is quite crowded, but the waiting time is not long. I have seen other reviews about the bread and that it is added extra on the bill and I don't think that applies anymore. We have been 2 times and everything was ok.

We went there on the recommendation of a friend who used to frequent the place a few years ago, and I have to say it was one of the best tips we've ever received. From the moment you enter, the aromas envelop you and immediately put you in the right mood. The desserts on display are stunning—we were already at our limit and didn't take advantage of them, but we're pointing them out because they're definitely worth a look. We started with the classic Roman fried foods: Jewish-style artichokes and zucchini flowers, both impeccable. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a light texture that doesn't weigh you down. Then came the first courses: cacio e pepe, carbonara, and gricia. Three pillars of Roman cuisine, executed to perfection, with the authentic flavor of those who know and respect tradition. But what really won us over was the staff. Another friend showed up about twenty minutes late after the kitchen closed, and yet they welcomed her without hesitation, sitting her down and serving her cod and artichoke Jewish-style with a smile. For us, this is as important as the food. We'll definitely be back and will try to leave room for dessert!

Near the Vatican Museums. I stumbled upon it and it was a pleasant surprise. A very welcoming place, with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 100% recommended.

High-class restaurant! Excellent, delicious, fresh food and all in a great atmosphere

I'll start by saying that the food is always good. I've been going there a couple of times a year since 2021, and the quality of the food remains consistently high. The Roman-style first courses are truly excellent, as are the artichokes Jewish-style and Roman-style. The grilled meat cooled quickly, but the desserts are always excellent, even though the zuppa inglese was missing. The downside, the real problem, is the place. It's cramped and cramped, with these small rooms and staff running around trying to get everyone to eat as quickly as possible and refilling all the tables possible. If you end up in the middle of the room, as happens every time we come, you're anxious about eating. Unfortunately, I've noticed that it's always like this on Sunday lunchtime or Saturday evening dinnertime.
