02/05/2025: Mazze is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers. I tried their lasagna and tuna tartare, and both dishes were outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The lasagna was rich and comforting, while the tuna tartare was light, refreshing, and perfectly seasoned. What really stood out were the homemade desserts — you can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the whole dining experience even better. 30/04/2025: I have known Mezzo for many years and it NEVER disappoints expectations. Excellent atmosphere, impeccable service and excellent food: I can only say words of praise. And their historic dessert, the Chicca di Mezzo, is a very valid reason to return. Half is a security. Point

01/06/2025: We had a lovely time. The staff were very nice and spoke English well. The food was yummy! We both had the Fettuccine Ragù with fresh pasta and it was delicious! My husband finished my plate after I could anymore! The house white was also very nice to drink! I wish I got the name of the nice lady who took our payment at the front desk, she asked where we were from and where our travels were taking us and proceeded to give us a little gift to remember their restaurant by! It definitely made our already good night even better! It was mainly dined by locals and was very authentic! Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff ☺️

03/06/2025: I hate to say it, but there is a really rude waiter. I go to Necci often, and when I arrive they don't always seat me, sometimes I go in and sit down calmly. Yesterday (June 2nd) at about 6:00 pm I did the same thing when I saw some free tables. Immediately after, from a distance, the waiter yelled in a bad way, "And who made you sit here, you have to go. You can't sit wherever you want, if you do that you'll make a mess. Go out and wait for me to call you". Now, considering that it was more than fair to make us get up if we couldn't sit down, I remind him that the first rule of catering (and in life) is education. So, he could have approached the table and told us without yelling in a much more polite way and suitable for a context like Necci.

17/05/2025: What a behavior. Even if we clearly make a reservation inside they “prepare” as a table outside with rather chilly weather. When we insist for indoor seating they place us on the table next to the toilet entrance. Very common service behavior nowadays in Italy offered to non-italian speaking persons. Probably saving better table for walk-in Italian customers. When we complain thay told us that restaurant is fully booked, which was obvious a lie, since there was 20:30 and just few tables where used. So, we can’t switch the table. Waiter and manager was rude and arrogant and we decided to leave. Pitty what, once nice restaurant, become. If you want nice food and polite service and you are NOT Italian, beware of this dump. You can find better places for spending money on overpriced meals and wines.

17/05/2025: Qué comportamiento. Incluso si claramente hicimos una reserva para la mesa interior se “preparan” como una mesa exterior con un clima bastante frío. Cuando insistimos en asientos interiores nos colocan en la mesa junto a la entrada del inodoro. Comportamiento de servicio muy común hoy en día en Italia ofrecido a personas que no hablan italiano. Probablemente ahorrando mejor mesa para caminar - en los clientes italianos. Cuando nos quejamos de la posición de la mesa nos dijeron que el restaurante está lleno, lo que era una mentira evidente, ya que había 20 : 30 y solo unas pocas mesas donde se utiliza. Por lo tanto, no podemos cambiar la mesa por una mejor posición. Camarero y gerente fue grosero y arrogante y decidimos irnos. Pitty lo que, una vez buen restaurante, se convirtió. Si quieres comida agradable y sabrosa y un servicio educado y NO eres italiano, ten cuidado con este vertedero. Usted puede encontrar mejores lugares para gastar dinero en comidas y vinos caros. NOTA: Después de mi reseña en GOOGLE, el dueño del restaurante responde y con sus “palabras” confirma todo lo anterior pero también demuestra que es chovinista grosero. ¡Eso lo explica todo!

03/03/2025: Locale che ha cambiato location da poco, posto carino pulito, buona la proposta in menu, buoni antipasti buoni primi con qualche classico rivisitato, secondi anch’essi discreti le costatine un po’ troppo grandi per i nostri gusti, ottima scelta dei vini conto nella norma. Personale attento.

19/05/2025: Such a great neighborhood restaurant. The pizza was so delicious and the pasta dishes were strong. We ordered the carbonara and the amatriciana. Both very good but the carbonara was better. However, the star of the show was definitely the pizza. Highly recommend this place.

17/05/2025: We went to get three take-away pizzas (€25) and the guy forgot to bring them to us, leaving them on the counter for 10 minutes, cold pizza so not good.

21/05/2025: A Perfect Roman Dinner Experience My wife, our baby, and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Le Grotte. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, especially toward our little one. The food was fantastic — we had traditional Roman dishes that were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The pasta was fresh, the wine selection was excellent, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending to a great meal. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, yet relaxed enough for a family. It’s not easy finding a place that feels right for both adults and kids, but Le Grotte got it just right. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Rome!

Food.... almost embarrassing quality/price ratio, you eat very well and spend very little... fixed menu with first course, second course and side dish really excellent less than a menu of various fast food restaurants. 20/05/2025: Highly service minded staff with professional approach. Very well explanation about the courses/dishes. We will recommend this as a natural stop for an excellent dinner, for everyone/anyone every trip to Rome. If I could manage to give them Michelin stars, I would be glad to hand over a star.

20/05/2025: Nous avons réservé une table dans ce restaurant référencé par le Michelin. Il a fallu indiquer le numéro de carte Visa pour garantir la réservation. Nous avons été installés dans une cour intérieure couverte parée de marbre de Carrare. Je me suis retrouvé face à une paroi semblable à une pierre tombale. L'établissement manque de personnel ou est mal organisé : nous avons dû attendre 40 minutes avant que la patronne vienne prendre notre commande. Le serveur avait une attitude hautaine et presque condescendante. J'ai dégusté des spaghetti cacio & pepe (peccorino et poivre), une spécialité romaine. Ils étaient bons. Bon vin rouge au verre. L'ambiance mortifère du restaurant et le service plus sue problématique m'ont fait regretter mon choix.

03/05/2025: Mi avevano già detto che avrei trovato lo zabaione più buono di Roma E su questo non ho dubbi lo confermo 🤩unitamente a una cucina intensa e delicata e a due proprietari assolutamente accoglienti ,simpatici e che mettono chiunque a proprio agio in un locale elegante, raffinato e dove il cibo è davvero un'arte. 29/04/2025: Ambiente increíblemente cálido, la comida era excepcional. La atención que la dueña del restaurante Soussan pone en todos sus platos es evidente. aunque todo fue fantástico, debe guardar un espacio para el Zabaione especial de Soussan. .

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

05/01/2025: Ci sarò stato almeno 10 volte dalla nuova apertura. Mai 1€ di sconto, mai un caffè offerto, mai una carineria. L’apoteosi accade quando organizzo un tavolo per 15 persone: conto vicino ai 1.000€ e mi fanno pagare anche i centesimi. Tralaltro il ristorante è chiuso da quasi 2 mesi e non si sa perché…

Personale gentile Menu con i piatti tipici romani E quello che ti arriva a tavola è un esplosione di sapori Prezzi nella media... Non vedo l'ora di tornare a Roma per tornare in questo locale
