.....and for the second time, finding ourselves in Rome, we returned to Zio: the first time with a menu tending towards meat (obviously we only tried a part of it) the second time instead we headed towards the sea....as for the dishes I mean....what can I say, in addition to the expertly chosen and prepared food, the familiar Roman atmosphere pleasantly surprised us and made us feel very much at ease. So, it goes without saying that since there are no two without three.... I'll update the situation to Saturday evening, May 16th: we enjoyed the pizza and, finally, also the dessert...I think there are no three without four....see you soon Uncle Frankie

Our visit to this Italian restaurant in Rome was a true highlight of our vacation. The pasta was outstanding – fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The pasta was incredibly flavorful, as were the seafood salad and fritto misto. The service was also very friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was typically Italian and perfectly complemented our lunch. We would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant! 🍕🇮🇹

26/04/2026: We found this restaurant by accident while walking around, and we’re really glad we did. A gentleman outside warmly invited us in and was incredibly friendly, which made a great first impression. The food was average, but the service truly stood out – very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice place mainly because of the wonderful service.
14/03/2026: Consistently great experiences at Da Secondo. The food is always good, prices extremely reasonable and the service is fantastic, with a special mention to Matteo who looked after us for our post 6 Nations celebration. Highly recommend

13/03/2026: After the restaurant moved down from the 1st floor to street level it’s a very different place. Gone is the charming little place with local staff in smaller dining rooms and good atmosphere. It’s now massive, cold and with awful lightning. I have been coming here for 25 years but last time was such a change and disappointment.
