Favorite restaurant across Venice, Florence, and Rome. Incredible food and kind service. Andrea is wonderful!

We came here having seen some reviews on Reddit and it truly lived up to its hype! We came around opening time, left a name and were told to come back in an hour which was very convenient as you didn’t have to stand in line the entire time. For starters, we had the offal which came highly recommended online. It was served with chicory and a bun however we generally aren’t offal fans and this didn’t change my opinion of it. Next we had the amatriciana and gricio for pasta. Both were excellent and the amatriciana was definitely the best pasta we had in Rome and perhaps in recent memory! It came with a lovely sugo and rigatoni al dente, and lovely crispy flavourful bits of guanciale. The gricia was also very good and was up there with some of the best pastas we had in Rome. We also shared the lamb, which again was very good. The meat was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Overall, I highly recommend this place for some excellent pasta and Roman food.

Located just steps away from the Pantheon, this small restaurant is a reservation only affair that must be booked weeks in advance (see website). Inside, one is greeted by a tastefully decorated dining area replete with artwork covering the walls. Both the food and service are exceptional at surprisingly reasonable prices. We indulged in a trio of pastas - the classics (Cacio e pepe, Carbonara and Amatriciana) as well as the Roman style artichoke and a cauliflower gratin tart. We were (barely) able to finish everything but felt obliged to do so as leaving any of the delicious meal for the trash would be a crime. As a person who cooks a fair bit, these flavors were a revelation.

Simply the best. My group and I tried most of their pasta dishes and would love to be back again. I licked the plate. Carbonara here is a must order item.

We tried this restaurant as a recommendation of a friend, and it was worth the experience. Great quality for price, and service was nice for a full restaurant. Reservations are helpful to book in advanced.

Visited on May 4 and had a magical experience. Thank you to the staff for hosting us. The food was amazing (try the veal), but my wife especially enjoyed the fresh bread from the local bakery. 😉. We are definitely planning to come back on our next trip to Rome.

Like last time everything was just excellent. Recurring customer and would do it over and over again. Perfect Caccio e pepe and the Polenta con Salsiccia 👌🏼
