03/06/2026: Wonderful late-night dinner on a cosy terrace in the heart of Rome. Fantastic food, great wine selection, and genuinely warm and welcoming staff. The kind of place where you immediately relax and enjoy the evening. Will definitely return.

11/06/2026: We were invited to lunch for a friend's birthday. Despite it being a Monday lunchtime, the place was quite crowded, but quiet and definitely tidy.
I enjoyed the fried breadsticks with prosciutto, but due to an error by the owner, who listed the dishes verbally (without providing a written menu), we were served a plate of ziti instead of the ones that were supposed to be "schiaffoni."
The table layout needs to be re-arranged for larger groups of diners to allow for more comfortable seating.
09/06/2026: The restaurant is perfect for this season, with plenty of outdoor seating where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. The food is very good (honorable mention goes to the fried breadsticks with ham and the pizza), the service is fast and friendly, and the price is good.

25/04/2026: I'm not one to always write reviews, but this time I felt compelled by the fact that last night we had dinner here with friends, and I can assure you that everything was exceptional, from the owner to the waiters, from the food to the good wine.
19/04/2026: This place was a very welcome sanctuary from the very poor and low quality restaurants of Rome City where we felt like pariahs being tourists. Service and food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. We felt welcomed which was something very lacking in Rome. If the opportunity presented itself to revisit, we would. Compliments to the chef for outstanding food and wine. Thank you

10/05/2026: The small-to-medium ambience allows for a relaxing dining experience. Roman cuisine worthy of being tried several times to sample all their offerings.
The appetizers are excellent, the supplì are enormous and perfect, the first courses are perfect, and the second courses are exceptional.
I personally had the opportunity to try coratella, beans with pork rind, supplì and tripe as an appetizer, carbonara as a first course, and artichokes alla giudia and lamb in two different specialties, without ever being disappointed.
A few days to go for the second episode.
Excellent cuisine and service.
07/05/2026: A few dishes, but good and simple. The supplì and first courses are excellent. Unfortunately, the place is small, so it's very crowded, making it difficult to converse easily. Reservations are essential.

The service was rather unfriendly (with a complete lack of local waiters, which is usually taken for granted in a place like this), the prices weren't particularly low, and above all, the food was terrible: dishes were completely burned (and even drowned in oil) to speed up the cooking process and speed up customer turnover. Definitely avoid.
16/05/2026: Historic place, but shabby inside...they made us eat at a table facing the kitchen, which caused odors to rise, and arguments between the staff continued in the dining room. Service was poor. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The price was excessive, considering the evening we had.

02/06/2026: Tullio was suggested by our concierge. Never obvious as to the integrity of the recommendation regardless of the city you find yourself in. The Tratoria was buzzing with activity. You are greeted at the entrance with a full view of a wood-fired grill with Fiorentinas patiently queuing to be admitted to the party! A reassuring sight for the carnivore! We are attended to by a Joe Pesci look-alike down to the squeaky voice, as well! The carciofi were excellent and we were fortunate to catch the tail-end of the first season. That entrance sealed the deal on the Fiorentina which did not disappoint. Good vibe and great Roman cuisine.
29/05/2026: The owner and manager are two rude, ignorant, and aggressive beyond belief! Poor staff and terrible food. Anyone who writes about eating well at this dump of a trattoria has never been to a real restaurant. The three of us were disappointed by the fish they served us. The meat arrives raw when you ask for medium rare, and the wine list is mediocre. The place is old, run-down, and in need of a complete overhaul. Dust covers all the lights and surfaces. I've never seen a worse place!
