We ordered pasta carbonara and amatriciana, unbeatable, the tiramisu and zabaglione were delicious, visit it 👍👍

This isn’t a “5 star” restaurant per se but it felt and tasted like an awesome true, local, family Roman restaurant. The food was delicious comfort food and the service was super friendly and accommodating. The wine list was actually really good with nice and affordable options. I would highly recommend for just a great Roman meal if you are near the Coliseum.

Lovely lunch with family. I found the food a little salty but delicious. Nice decor. Service was average.

Excellent experience with traditional cuisine, not so with the sufficiency of the waiter who initially welcomed and served us, fortunately not equaled by the other staff. However, not exactly a spark of friendliness as we have found in other places in the centre. Let's hope, for the place, that it was just an exception.

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch of lobster ravioli. Authentic Italian cuisine in a cafe/restaurant full of character in Rome near the Colosseum. We could easily return for dinner. Fabulous friendly service.

Ritorno al Bocconcino dopo diversi anni, e ci vado con una decina di colleghi. É sempre una gioia constatare che nel tempo certi luoghi rimangono fedeli alla qualità apprezzata, ancor maggiore se come in questo caso ritrovi il locale ristrutturato e ingrandito con eleganza e bellezza, il personale accogliente, simpatico e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti, e infine, ma cosa principale, il cibo ancora più buono, senza ombra di dubbio un’eccellente escursus nella cucina e tradizione romana, fatta con modernità e maestria dallo chef. In particolare voglio segnalare il ragù d’anatra, squisito, la matriciana, superba, e le polpette di bollito su salsa verde. Come ulteriore elemento, che fa sicuramente consigliare il posto, e mi fa esser convinto di ritornarci, la capacità di soddisfare appieno ed egregiamente anche le necessità di due delle persone, una celiaca e intollerante al lattosio e l’altra vegetariana. Insomma un pranzo 10 e lode.
