We used this place for a short break before visiting the Colosseum. It was past lunchtime, and nearby restaurants refused to serve just coffee, but this place was fine, which was a great help. The sofas were very comfortable. It was hot during our sightseeing, so being able to rest was very much appreciated.

We went to dinner at this restaurant just steps from the Colosseum and finally found a place that didn't make you feel like a typical tourist passing through. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, while the cuisine immediately won us over: authentic and unpredictable traditional Roman dishes, quality ingredients, and everything homemade. The tasting menu is truly surprising, with carefully crafted dishes. The duck ragù is a true delight. The quality of the service was definitely above average: the waiter was extremely attentive, kind, and helpful throughout the evening, making us feel welcomed and looked after with great professionalism. Considering the quality, the prices are truly fair. We highly recommend it and will be back.

What can I say, everything was excellent, the food was exceptional, everything was homemade, the service was excellent and perfect in every way, a piece of advice to give, try it and you will be very satisfied.

Excellent, thoughtful, and above all non-commercial offerings in an area victimized by the touristification of food. A gem in a beautiful part of Rome, too often victimized by homogenized food offerings, driven by the inattention of tourists unwilling to seek out quality and locally sourced artisanal products.

The food was good, but I've had better pasta. The place was clean and had good restrooms.

Great choice for a restaurant. We had the pasta with mixed mushrooms, tortellini as main dishes and the meatballs (appetizer) from their daily menu. All 3 dishes were just phenomenal. The service was good and kind. We consider going back today.
