Last week, we originally wanted to eat at another trendy restaurant in the hip neighborhood, but it was completely packed with over an hour's wait... so we went to Cacio e Pepe instead, and it was a real find. We've eaten at quite a few Italian restaurants, but the food here was by far the best. The pasta, in particular, couldn't have been better. The local Romans at the next table were having pizza, which also looked delicious. The service (Marcos) was also very friendly and quick. All in all, 5/5.

We visited this restaurant twice during our trip through Rome — once at the beginning of our journey and again on our last evening, which also happened to be my mom’s birthday. The first visit was already amazing: the atmosphere was so welcoming, the waiters were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that my mom specifically wished to come back for her birthday dinner. Even though the second evening was a busy Friday night, the staff was still warm, funny, attentive, and full of positive energy. We honestly missed this kind of friendly service in many other restaurants in Rome. The food was outstanding both times. We had the Carbonara on the first visit and the Amatriciana on the second, along with different starters, and everything was excellent. Since neither my mom nor I eat very large portions, we shared our main courses. On the second evening, the waiter even came to our table with two plates and told us he had already asked the kitchen to split the dish for us. We thought that was such a thoughtful and wonderful gesture. My mom even said that if she lived in Rome, this would definitely be her favorite restaurant. We will absolutely come back on our next trip to Rome!

It was amazing !! The food was great . The more important thing was the service. My girlfriend has a really bad nut allergy to all nuts which is difficult to navigate in Italy. And they were super sweet about it and even brought out a dessert for her which was her first sweet in Italy. Would recommend just because of how well we were treated. 10/10!

Amazing dinner tonight — the food was absolutely incredible and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Sam was fantastic, so friendly, attentive and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
