07/08/2025: I went to this restaurant on Monday, June 23, 2025, around 1:30 PM with the intention of having lunch. The entrance was locked, but I could hear voices chatting inside. I tried knocking and calling, and I could hear the phone ringing, but no one answered. There was no sign saying the restaurant was closed, just a notice that they're closed on Sundays. If this is the level of attention they give to their customers, I can imagine the care they put into their cooking. I won't go back, not even under torture. I have no reason to say something untrue, because I walked from St. Peter's in the heat to come and eat, and the door was locked. I tried opening it, knocking, and calling. This is rude.

29/07/2025: I ate a truly spectacular Amatriciana.

14/08/2025: I wanted to have two pastas cause i was hungry, but the woman who works there said you can only have one it’s not allowed. I don’t really know why for this moment. She also said you can have it with pizza, steak, but two pastas for one person is not allowed, the waiting time was long too.

13/08/2025: A typical Roman inn serving traditional dishes, good service, and a warm welcome. Recommended if you're in Trastevere.

29/08/2025: I went to Trattoria Cecio with a couple of friends and honestly it felt like one of those proper Roman places, I mean maybe not fancy but exactly what we wanted. The carbonara I had was creamy and rich, I liked it a lot, maybe even too much sauce but still good, and my friend’s pizza had this thin crust with nice chew, toppings also tasty but I keep thinking maybe I should have ordered that instead, haha. The atmosphere was cozy, also lively, people talking loud sometimes but it didn’t bother me, actually gave a kind of authentic feeling, not the fake tourist vibe. The staff was friendly, like they didn’t rush us at all, even if almost all tables were full. One waiter, he had a red apron a bit stained, suggested some local wine and honestly it matched perfect with the pasta, I was surprised. Prices, yeah not cheap, but close to center and food was good so I guess it’s ok. I repeat, not cheap, but not crazy either. We left satisfied and I was thinking hmm maybe I will come back, or maybe not, depends how hungry I am next time.

29/08/2025: Great little spot near the train station. The scampi and bisque ravioli is incredible. Would eat here again.

18/08/2025: We were looking for a restaurant in Trastevere and stumbled upon this one. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we were helped very quickly with everything. Thanks to the reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere, we easily spent three hours here. We even received a free limoncello to finish off the meal. In the end, we spent just €100.

07/09/2025: Food was excellent. Went late 9:30pm and was serviced without an issue. The paella was great but the truffle pasta was incredible

27/08/2025: Eggplant Parmesan, truffle lasagna and bolognese Lasanga all exceptional! What a gem.

25/08/2025: We went to Venice, Modena, Florence and here Rome - and this was one of the most delicious meals of our trip. It tasted home-cooked and full of love. We know it isn't traditional to order pasta for dinner but we could not resist: we had spaghetti carbonara, mushroom risotto and gnocci with ragu. The staff knew limited English but Google translate helped fill the gap. Definitely recommend for an authentic Roman meal enjoyed by locals.

22/08/2025: A simple and welcoming restaurant, delicious food, and a very friendly owner. We had traditional Roman first and second courses, each one better than the last...highly recommended!

18/08/2025: Conveniently located off the highway, we stopped for lunch on our way back from vacation. Quality ingredients, good meat, and incredibly delicious spaghetti with fresh tomatoes. A lovely place nestled in the vineyards with plenty of outdoor space. It's a shame, though, because there was a bit of tension between the dining room and kitchen, and I think everyone felt it.

17/08/2025: This is the second year we've officially started our holidays at this restaurant, en route to our tourist destinations. It's truly a pleasure to come and eat here: excellent food, courtesy, and friendliness. And then there's the rustic yet authentic location. Prices are average for Ponzano, but obviously much lower than Rome. The desserts are also excellent (this time we tried the tiramisu and cheesecake). And then there's the pasta and meat dishes, superb. Highly recommended!!

30/08/2025: Within sight of the Colosseum, on a side street in the city center, you can eat here at a reasonable price. The pasta was good, but we especially liked the focaccia we had as a starter. Simple but very tasty.

30/08/2025: Great place very close to Colosseum, delicious food. And outside tables placed under sealing made of plants give this place unforgettable atmosphere.

19/08/2025: Brutal. The best pasta we've ever eaten! An unbeatable end to our trip to Italy. We ordered the pasta amatriciana, and I recommend checking the board to see the daily specials. This time, we also opted for the busiate, which had pistachio pesto and shrimp... truly insane. From now on, this will always be a must-visit in Rome. Very generous portions and very reasonable prices.

26/08/2025: We stopped by chance, because among the places on the belvedere it was the one that seemed the most beautiful and tidy, in fact it turned out to be a wonderful experience, we had various appetizers and a classic cacio e pepe, to finish a really good and unusual cheesecake, the service was polite and fast, everyone was really good.

05/09/2025: I ate it on the street at a typical street food restaurant. The chicken cacciatore dish was described to me as a poem. It was pleasant, yes, but the real surprise was the supplí. Saying they were amazing doesn't do it justice. I'll be back for a dinner based solely on supplí 😋😍

30/08/2025: I'm updating and confirming my previous review. It was and remains a great idea...and in the end, it satisfies not only the palate but also the stomach, without breaking the bank. Near Ponte Milvio, amidst a swarm of restaurants and little eateries, there's this gem that offers not the usual sandwich...not the usual pizza, but a pizza pocket filled with your choice of a traditional Roman specialty (plus a selection that changes daily). I tried the meatball with tomato sauce...exquisite (and I always ordered that to be on the safe side, Ed.). To be on the safe side, I also ordered a supplì (gricia style)...with water, the bill came to less than ten euros, which isn't even a drag on your wallet. The staff is young and friendly, and the service is easy, even for takeout. I recommend it, although I think the service (and the food) have become somewhat standardized over time, especially given the large turnout that its success (and the fame of its other outlets) have brought and consolidated. 12/09/2025: As a plumber I'm always on the go and bringing food from home often becomes a problem. It's our first time here (lunch break) and we passed by chance and found the right place: artisanal products made with passion, the owner gives us a general overview of the dishes, in conclusion, excellent in everything. I WORK WITH AND FOR PASSION.
