13/06/2026: I had lunch at this typical restaurant and found it truly excellent.
Traditional dishes with generous portions.
I recommend ordering half of what you're expecting or one dish at a time.
The staff were friendly and professional; they also offered sweet and savoury desserts and liqueurs.
I highly recommend trying it.

A lovely, hearty family lunch!
They seated us at table number 3, and we had the pleasure of meeting both the owner and his daughter, as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff. The set menu included a rich appetizer with various traditional dishes, three typical first courses, a second course and a side salad, traditional desserts, homemade amaro, and coffee.
The experience leaves you with the taste of a Sunday from days gone by. The quality is evident and evident, and we were all truly satisfied. I recommend it to everyone! See you next time!

16/05/2026: I had the octopus salad, it was a bit tough and the portion was small. The grilled fish was good, but they serve it whole without even removing the bones.
It's a shame because the flavor wasn't bad.

16/07/2025: A poche centinaia di metri( occhio al navigatore) del casello autostradale di Candela, il ristorante con ampio parcheggio e grande sala e veranda esterna,espone ovunque a terra o appesi moto,radio vintage,macchine da scrivere,mamgiadischi!!,attrezzi storici,pentola e in rame,màcinini e tante altre memorabilie. Si mangia anche a prezzi modici,noi di passaggio, le orecchiette alle cime di rapa buone e abbondanti. Titolare vera star del locale.
12/07/2025: Valida trattoria di campagna. Unica delusione l antipasto, considerato il livello dei prezzi nel menù per 15 euro ci aspettavamo qualcosa di sostanzioso invece era davvero miserello e triste. Basta orientarsi su primi e secondi. I dolci attraenti ma confezionati. Considerando il panorama gastronomico della zona ci è andata più che bene e siamo tornati nel viaggio di ritorno

06/05/2025: Si mangia bene pur senza eccessi che comunque non troverete in nessuna trattoria della zona.
Ottime le orecchiette e il vino della casa, la grigliata un po' meno.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Ci tornerei anche perché in zona non c'è di meglio.
03/05/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questa osteria semplicemete deliziosa... il cibo di ottima qualita' preparato con sapienza e amore...il servizio garbato e veloce rende ancora il tutto piu' gradevole... Davvero grazie a Roberto per la sua professionalita' e simpatia

Agriturismo Osteria Pane e vino

19/06/2025: This is one of those agriturismo places which, if I understand it correctly, is a farm that has its own restaurant so that you can experience farm to plate food. These tend to be stuck out in the countryside, as this one is, a few miles outside Peschici. The location is lovely, as was the experience dining amongst the olive groves. Unfortunately, the food and wine experience did not match. The food we received was OK but nothing special and we certainly experienced much better Orecchiette pasta on this trip round Puglia. And as for the wine well…….
Now I have to say we visited here as part of a tour group with a UK travel company, so perhaps we were given the cheap stuff, but frankly it was closer to non alcoholic fruit juice that the excellent red wines this region produces.
However, on this particular lunchtime it was full of locals (including the local Carbonari) with people queuing to get in.
Sadly though not for me. I would not choose to come here under my own steam.
