Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Ceglie Messapica. Typical local products and products of the highest quality.

It is almost impossible to go to the town of Ceglie without actually stopping by to eat at this restaurant. All the dishes are tasty and inventive. You can find a spectrum of dishes there, each more tasty than the other. The smiling welcome with the added bonus of a selection of various cabbages as an appetizer, a little treat! Let yourself be tempted by the starter with an assortment of fresh vegetables and local cheeses, appetizers of regional culinary history. I let myself be tempted by the carbonara with asparagus and crispy cooked ham. The dish was tender and soft! Then came the quail, carefully seasoned with delicacy, on a vegetable puree and a divine primitivo reduction!! These dishes were accompanied by exquisite wines, precise choices by the waiters because the menu was far too extensive, so we followed their advice without any remorse. Unfortunately not fond of the typical ceglie dessert, we will come back to taste another one. Thank you again for this moment.

We made a reservation for dinner here, while staying near Ostuni. It's a beautiful rustic restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff, who navigated us through the menu and made some suggestions after hearing we were vegetarians. The tasting platter with a range of appetisers is a knockout, and our main courses were extraordinary too. It's interesting how a little town like Ceglie with little to do or see has become a foodie magnet, and its restaurants like Cibus driving this phenomenon.
