Locanda San Cipriano In Atena lucana

We chose the Locanda to celebrate Grandma's 90th birthday...a table for 14 slightly picky adults. We had a wonderful time! Excellent food, fast and courteous service, and a good value. In particular, a wide selection of appetizers, original and beautifully presented. A beautiful outdoor space, well-kept and colorful.

Highly recommended! We stayed here overnight with our camper and also had dinner in the Osteria. We received a very warm and hospitable welcome. A lovely, relaxed atmosphere, nice garden decorations, and delicious dishes. Thank you, Gabriël 🙏🏼

Today, March 12, coming from the south and after taking two wrong turns, Mrs. Sandra came to our aid. Fantastic place for just 3-4 campers (we are campers) with water and electricity. But let's talk about the restaurant...perfect, gourmet menu with reasonable prices (camper parking is free). I RECOMMEND A ENJOYABLE VISIT. We'll see you again!

The hosts were very nice and the camper facilities were well maintained. Avoid the steep southern slope in Google Maps. First navigate to Atena Lucana and follow their own sign. Booking by phone went smoothly. We enjoyed delicious pizza with a rectangular twist. An absolute must! The parking spaces are suitable for vehicles up to 7 meters.

Exceptional in its raw materials, preparation, and service. A guarantee

It's a heavy heart for me to write this review. This is the third time in a row we've booked to eat your fantastic "Scrocchia" pizza, but unfortunately, once again, we weren't able to order all the pizzas we'd wanted because they were already sold out. Specifically, out of two additional pizzas requested, only one could be prepared. Furthermore, during dinner, the waiter (the taller and slimmer one) came by to collect plates and trays with food still on them, without asking if he could do so, which left us a bit perplexed. Around midnight, we had the feeling we were being asked to leave. I completely understand that the staff also have the right to close and rest, but it would be correct to specify the closing time when booking to avoid unpleasant situations. That said, the pizza remains excellent as always, the place is welcoming, and the staff, overall, is friendly. It's a real shame, however, that the availability of pizzas and the management of closing time detract from what could have been an excellent experience.

We stayed here with our campervan on our way to Sicily. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable (just under €100 for three meals, two Aperol Spritzes, a bottle of very good red wine, and two desserts), the service was top-notch, and the view over the valley was fantastic. A truly wonderful place, run with genuine passion. Thank you for keeping the pitch free for us 👍😊, as it would otherwise have been occupied by a large local family celebration. Thank you for the lovely evening! Excellent electricity and water supply, right at the pitch. State-of-the-art service point.
