30/09/2025: During our stay in Maiori, we had breakfast here twice. The products were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented in the display! The gentleman at the counter was one of the kindest we met during our entire stay in Italy. An extra positive point is that, being gluten intolerant, I was still able to enjoy a filling meal – he even made me a panino with the bread I brought along! Before preparing it, he washed his hands thoroughly and used a new knife to avoid any cross-contamination. That’s true professionalism. I can only recommend this place to everyone. 05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

20/11/2025: We were here Sept 2023 doing the Amalfi coast. We really had a fabulous time. Atrani was beautiful. We stopped by this restaurant and we had some lunch. Were really happy here. The food was excellent and the service was topnotch! It is in a very nice setting and the view is stunning. We will visit again when we are in area thats for sure. Definitely recommended. 30/01/2026: The slow food here is truly slow, in the sense that even though the restaurant isn't very large, we waited 40 minutes just for some bread and a plate of macaroni with sauce, which isn't exactly ideal with a child. I would definitely return because the food is good, the atmosphere is well-kept and clean; if you can appreciate the details, you'll be amazed. In short, you're stepping into the owners' home, who, albeit in a "slow" way, will welcome and pamper you with this restaurant's fine cuisine. A fair menu at fair prices. P.S. Be careful, pizza is only available for dinner.

06/02/2026: We've been frequenting this pizzeria for years, and it's always been a go-to. It offers classic and gourmet pizzas. The selection ranges from classic flavors to more unusual, imaginative, innovative, and sometimes daring combinations. The ingredients are carefully selected and of excellent quality, and the desserts are exquisite. The place is warm, modern, and welcoming, with ample free parking just steps from the center of Baronissi. Top marks also go to the high chairs and spacious bathroom with a changing table (which is by no means a given; in 15 months, we've noticed how little attention is paid to infants), and if that weren't enough, they even provide diapers. The staff is professional, attentive, and helpful. A special mention goes to Maria; when we visit the pizzeria for lunch with our daughter, she always welcomes us with kindness and enthusiasm. Needless to say, we'll be back :)

09/01/2026: Four days at the Ariston Hotel from December 39th to January 2nd with the Vagero group of Viareggio. The hotel was extraordinary, with a huge, tastefully furnished room, impeccable cleanliness, excellent staff, delicious food, and a glittering and captivating New Year's Eve party. Congratulations! The only downside was that when I closed the curtains, the room faced a wall!

20/01/2026: A quick dinner after an afternoon strolling through ancient history. The atmosphere is family-friendly, they offer traditional cuisine, and you can taste the attention to detail in the ingredients. We had pizza and fried food. Both were delicious. The pasta frittata was #1! The pizzas with seasonal ingredients also deserve praise!

17/01/2026: This morning I'm still wondering how this pizzeria can possibly have such high reviews. And the doubt comes to me. I'm still trying to digest yesterday's pizza. The ingredients used were subpar, and the result was a sleepless night. Ditto for my partner. Never again.

03/01/2026: Wonderful place, recommended to everyone. The owner is very helpful and present, as are all the staff, from the waiter to the waiter, to the cleaning ladies. The food is simply perfect. A very welcoming and family-friendly place, a must-visit. It's ideal for visiting the coast, as it's in a strategic location. A heartfelt thank you to everyone.

30/01/2026: It doesn't get better than this. Wholesome, authentic, delicious food. The owners make you feel like family. The atmosphere is peaceful, warm and inviting with fun, old pieces displayed throughout the restaurant. The fireplace is on all winter long as well as a pellet stove. I've eaten here more times than I could ever count, sometimes twice in the same day. It is our go-to when my Italian husband and I want to eat super well and feel super relaxed around smiling faces. I bring all of my friends and family that come to visit me in Cilento and they've all loved it. From the vegetables to the meat to the pasta dishes to the Cilento-style pizza - A+++.
