06/05/2026: What a find this vintage family restaurant was! It's been around for almost 50 years. The chef is at the stove, and we were served and advised by his charming wife. The cuisine is local and authentic, based on fresh seafood. Everything was excellent, including the desserts, and the choice of a bottle of rosé was spot on. On the menu was a shellfish stir-fry with mussels, razor clams, and shrimp, followed by pasta with Bolognese sauce and fisherman's pasta with seafood. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Agropoli. It's located between the seafront promenade and the historic center, easy to find. Go, you won't regret it! 🍝🐟🍤
02/05/2026: The paccheri with prawns and pasta with catch of the day were good but nothing special. The mixed fried fish may have had fresh fish, but it was soggy and not at all crispy. The service was inattentive; no one asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, but the bill was brought straight to us without us asking. The lady then offered us the leftover pieces of the Kinder Easter egg on a small plate!

10/05/2026: The food is good and reasonably priced, especially for gluten-free options. The pizza, called Nerano, is better than the regular one. The owners and their staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. They offer interesting menus for a good meal, made with high-quality ingredients. You can easily get there via the 268.

13/05/2026: A while ago, I wrote a positive review. The pizzeria has changed management. Unfortunately, I have to say I'm not exactly happy: in the last four times I've had takeout pizzas, one was excellent, and the other three were always worse. On the three occasions when I'm absolutely unhappy, there's a young boy... Perhaps at a certain hour, given the young age of the pizza chef, they need to change. The oven, which works so hard, needs to be cleaned more often, otherwise the highly carcinogenic carbon dioxide takes over, as in the photos. It may be a coincidence, but every time the boy is there making pizzas, there's almost no basil, the crust of the "original" pizza is a result of tiredness (perhaps), and the pizza is burnt. See photo.... Yes, four times. Once I found two older boys, and I have to say, great pizza! On the other three occasions when I found a boy who's maybe not even a teenager (I think he's under 15), it's a disaster!!!! See the photo. Fast service, nice place, but the kid still has a lot to figure out, first and foremost that those who come late get the same money as those who come early, and that the oven needs to be cleaned, especially if it's working so hard! Carbon dioxide is highly carcinogenic, someone should explain that to him.... Nothing to say about the two older kids I met the only time: perfect pizza. You can see the difference in the photos: show them to the kid!!!!

29/12/2025: Yesterday I went to this cupcake shop with my cousins, who had raved about it. When I entered, there were a lot of people, and it was Saturday! Our turn came, and we got two Kinder Bueno cupcakes with Nutella, one Bounty, a brownie, and a Kinder hot chocolate! When I tasted the Kinder Bueno one, I was in heaven. It was delicious. The owner of the shop was very friendly, like a mother, and gave us lots of advice. Finally, with some collection points, she gave us the most expensive one. In short, we definitely want to go back.

I think I ate the pasta and potatoes with caciocavallo cheese, which was sublimely delicious, a true delight. The appetizer was a joy, with high-quality ingredients and the hot dishes cooked to perfection. Agostino and the two ladies in the kitchen are not only professional, but also incredibly friendly. 21/01/2026: I returned to this pizzeria after five years, and it was a delightful rediscovery. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I ordered a Marinara: truly excellent. Finally, a proper "macchiata" pizza, where the sauce takes center stage and not just a dry trace of tomato. My friends' pizzas and frittatas were also excellent, and they got top marks. However, I must point out that the service was decidedly slow, even though the place wasn't crowded when we arrived. Beyond that, there are two small points related to personal taste: I would have preferred to be warned that instead of the Coke I ordered, they would serve a Pepsi, given that the flavors are quite different. I also found the decor a bit chaotic, and the acoustics in the front room could be improved, as the echoing voices are sometimes unpleasant. In any case, the quality of the food prevails: we'll definitely be back; I would have stayed for another!

A cuisine that excites with every bite. Our dinner was a true sensory journey. We began with exceptional appetizers: exquisite lobster-filled ravioli, an explosion of seafood flavor in every bite, and a refined grilled octopus with sweet potatoes, perfectly textured. The highlight was undoubtedly Tenuta Oliva's salmon steak, served with an avocado and lime cream that highlighted the fresh, delicate fish. To end on a high note, a timeless classic, expertly prepared: the deconstructed tiramisu, a play of textures and flavors that brought the evening to a sweet conclusion. Impressive and impeccable. The staff displays a professionalism from days gone by: attentive, thoughtful, yet never intrusive, anticipating every guest's need with a smile and rare courtesy. Their passion for hospitality and attention to detail, such as the organization of the photo booth, made the experience even more enjoyable. Elegant and evocative, ideal for a special evening or to celebrate important moments. In short, we're talking about true excellence. When a passion for hospitality meets such high-quality cuisine, the result can only be memorable. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, high-quality experience in Salerno.
30/05/2026: I had dinner with my friends at Tenuta Oliva. I ate very well, savoring a truly amazing dish, the spaghetti with seasonal vegetables, which was extremely delicate. 05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.
05/12/2025: Best place on our stop to Postitano. Great views, food and service! Get ready for an uphill hike, we were gassed! But it was well worth it!

04/06/2026: We went for the June 2nd long weekend. We asked and they recommended this place. We are happy with this recommendation. We found the place clean and the service excellent. The girl who served and took our order deserves a special mention: she was good, knowledgeable, polite, and easy-going, but not intrusive. And the person who took the reservation, I believe, was the very professional and helpful head waiter. I was embarrassed to choose a pizza, the menu was so extensive that I ordered more than one. In the end, I chose the simplest diavola with the addition of provola. MAGNIFICENT, as it was easy to digest, as the girl had suggested. But the real delight came from the fried fish. Complete with calamari, prawns, and scampi, with a not inconsiderable addition, served with fragrant fried food and split in the middle for easier access with the fork. In short, 110 with honors and an academic kiss.
