24/07/2025: We had a wonderful dinner, the waiters were very friendly, the place has incredible views, it's better to come before dusk.

19/07/2025: Pizzeria La Rosa is a historic pizzeria near Colli di Fontanelle. We've known this place for many years because, when we were young, it was one of our favorites. I returned after many years and must say I was pleasantly surprised (let me start by saying we only had pizza, but the restaurant also offers a nice selection of dishes that we'll try next time): fast service, friendly staff, cloth napkins, tables on the terrace where, especially in the summer and in the evening, you can enjoy a pleasant coolness, delicious pizzas, well-cooked, well-topped, large, with a shallow crust. Overall, a great place (again, as a pizzeria for now). The wine selection is also good, and wine by the glass is available. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend it. The prices are very reasonable, even for the made-to-order pizzas.

03/08/2025: We went to Trattoria da Maruzzara in Naples, and honestly, it wasn't a good experience. We ordered prosciutto with burrata, and while it was delicious, the burrata was dry and lacking in any creaminess, which pretty much ruined the dish. We also ordered the parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant lasagna), and it was another disappointment: it arrived cold, had poor flavor, and was overly salty. The accompanying bread was also a disaster: hard and oddly cut, it looked like it was leftover from other tables. In short, a weak and disappointing experience, especially in a city like Naples, where there are so many places with amazing food. This isn't one of them.

25/06/2025: A lovely place with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent, high-quality food, all delicious and freshly cooked. I recommend La Lanterna for those who want to enjoy cod and much more. The desserts at Boccaccio come in a variety of flavors, delicious!

07/06/2025: The place is cozy but when it's full it's noisy. The service staff is prepared and very fast. Their specialty is cod if you don't like it there are few alternatives.

16/07/2025: I went to Masseria Guida for a company dinner. The food was excellent. The location was spectacular.

07/06/2025: Restaurant worthy of a Michelin star....Nunzia is a wonderful hostess and Simona is a very sweet girl...who looked after us from the beginning to the end of the event.

26/07/2025: This was our first meal when we moved to Italy. Chef Mariella suggested a tasting of local starters that were ALL amazingly tasty and gave a wide variety of options. We then had the onion ravioli with Cacio e Pepe that was AMAZING!!! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and Chef Mariella and her husband are just wonderful! Cannot recommend enough!!!

01/07/2025: Very good pizza (we ordered buffalo pizza but not sure it was really it or just a simple margarita) but very bad serving. The lady had no interest in making us feel welcomed by any means. Cheap comercial music altered the very nice view of the sea.

25/06/2025: The pizza toppings are original and very good, but the dough is slightly too elastic. The location is an outdoor area in a structure with glass windows and unstable parquet that swayed under the waiters' too-fast steps and that made the table move. The real flaw, however, is the waiting time: 50 minutes. There are several people moving around the open kitchen and in the dining room, but in fact only one small oven and only one person who bakes and takes out the food.

21/07/2025: Service and location ok. Salty bill, stale or half-cooked bread. Spaghetti with clams salty and sticky. Shrimp not blended with zucchini. Octopus salad, meat, fruit and dessert ok.

30/06/2025: We celebrated the wedding on 06/28/2025, everything was perfect, from the organization to the attention to detail. The staff was super efficient and very kind and the food was superb. Spectacular

15/07/2025: There's no menu. You sit down and the waiter nods his head in agreement. If you nod, it's like hitting play and they start bringing out a four-course tasting menu. You can continue, move on to dessert, or stop. They were all very good, and with dessert and wine, it came to €40 per person.

06/07/2025: Non è la prima volta che vado in questo ristorante. Questa volta sono andato con la famiglia per festeggiare il compleanno di papà. Tutto perfetto come sempre: cibo squisito di alta qualità, servizio eccellente e prezzo strepitoso. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Staff were extremely welcoming and polite, helpful and friendly, gave good recommendations. Food was very tasty and filling, dessert very good as well. Would happily go again, thank you!

The atmosphere was suspended between elegance and authenticity, with the sun caressing the ancient stones and the air scented with sea and orange blossoms. The seafood appetizer was a triumph of freshness and refinement: every bite seemed to tell a story of fishing, of tradition, of true flavors. The first courses, absolute protagonists, were pure poetry. The pasta, perfectly cooked, embraced the fish in a perfect marriage, with clear, vibrant flavors, enhanced by a masterful balance. The grand finale? Ripe strawberries served with cherries and a sumptuous cake, which sealed the meal like a very sweet embrace. Impeccable service, authentic smiles, almost touching attention to detail. And the space... perfect in every form: welcoming, well-kept, scenic. 25/07/2025: Disfrutamos de un entrante de calamares fritos, una pasta de pescado y pizza - todos eran geniales, en particular los calamares y especialmente la pizza. El servicio es cálido y eficiente. Nos sentamos dentro, que era fresco, pero se perdió el bullicio de Sorrento ocupado, pero hay algunas mesas en la calle si se puede manejar el calor. Lo que es aún mejor es que incluso con el vino, la factura era de menos de 70 €.

20/07/2025: Quaint little steakhouse tucked away on a quiet side street in Sorrento — a nice escape from the busy tourist spots. We shared a tomahawk steak that came with veggies and potatoes, and it was perfect for the table. I had the lamb and house wine; the lamb was slightly overcooked but still tasty. Overall, a good experience and worth a visit if you’re looking for something authentic and less crowded.
