26/01/2025: A pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. We stopped for lunch and were hosted by Cecilia, alias Lucrezia and her daughter Rafeal. The food was absolutely delicious. Don't miss this place in Diamante. If you don't eat here, you're missing out.

The entire experience from the great food to the cool staff will bring us back from the states just to eat there again. It’s classic eatery that reaches beyond its walls. 01/05/2025: Ottima pizza! So good I had to come back the following night. Pizza just how it should be (IMHO): super thin, cooked to perfection. When I said I was vegetarian, they offered to make me a pizza alle verdure (if you don't speak Italian, just say "vegetariano/a" or ask for "alle verdure". Aldo, Francesca , Nicola and Silvia are super friendly and welcoming. There are tables inside and out, but no table service - essentially this is a takeaway with the option to eat on site. Excellent value as well, €6-10 for a high class pizza. And you can buy a beer too!

01/05/2025: Tan bueno que tuve que volver la noche siguiente. Pizza justo como debe ser (IMHO) : súper delgada, cocinada a la perfección. Cuando dije que era vegetariano, me ofrecieron hacerme una pizza alle verdure (si no hablas italiano, solo di "vegetariano/a" o pide "alle verdure". Aldo es muy amable y acogedor. Hay mesas por dentro y por fuera, pero no hay servicio de mesa - esencialmente esto es una comida para llevar con la opción de comer en el sitio. Excelente relación calidad-precio también, € 6 - 10 para una pizza de clase alta. ¡Y también puedes comprar una cerveza!

08/06/2025: Pescheria Azzurra is located in the old (open-air) market of Pigna secca. The loud chatter is characteristic of the place, and Pescheria Azzurra is 100% genuine. The catch of the day is fried with impressive consistency and is very good. The first courses are also of excellent workmanship and taste. The fish shop is well known and frequented by many tourists.

01/06/2025: lunch at the Al Castagneto restaurant for Easter Monday was a truly excellent culinary experience. The house appetizer was plentiful and carefully prepared: excellent quality cured meats, tasty cheeses, a soft and tasty omelette, well-seasoned olives and pickles. Each element on the plate was fresh and well-matched, with authentic and typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming. A perfect start to a rich and satisfying menu. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience true Italian cuisine with taste and authenticity.

26/03/2025: Torniamo sempre in questo locale quando siamo a Rotonda perchè la pizza è davvero ottima, così come ottimi sono i primi e i secondi sia di carne che di pesce, davvero tanta scelta, anche pizza a pranzo. Locale bello, pulito, personale gentile e premuroso, servizio veloce. Qualità-prezzo ottimo. Consigliato.

04/06/2025: Locale con bellissima vista sul mare. Pur non avendo opzioni vegane fisse nel menu lo chef si è adoperato per farci gustare qualcosa di buono. La titolare è molto simpatica e affabile, i camerieri lavorano in armonia, sono cordiali e disponibili. Prezzi molto abbordabili. Un consiglio, prenotate per tempo così da assicurarvi la disponilità di tutte le portate visto che i prodotti usati sono freschi e non surgelati.

11/05/2025: A fantastic venue to say the least, we celebrated an anniversary with two of us with dinner and after dinner (in the upper part of the venue). The restaurant has a welcoming and relaxing environment, the setting recalls a vintage style. Highly recommended!
