08/11/2025: Coming to Re Di Coppe in Firmo after years is always a new experience and always exceptional! Today, years later, the seafood menu is unparalleled: from the Arbëreshë cuisine of the pasta, the homemade striglie, the divine scoglio, the marinated salmon, the octopus and cuttlefish salad, still with citrus from the cooking process and wonderfully balanced by the marinade, to the peppered mussels and the golden fried fish. Congratulations to the great Re di Coppe! I recommend everyone to make a detour to Firmo for truly excellent dining!

20/08/2025: We were a group of 9 and we enjoyed a wide selection of pizza's. All the ones we had were tasty and great. Service was quick too. The cost was under 10€ a pizza which is very good value for money! Highly recommend this local pizzeria for a casual and inexpensive night out.

Really delicious pizza! The dough was light, well-leavened, and easy to digest, while the toppings were generous, fresh, and excellent quality. Every bite was a pleasant surprise, with balanced flavors and perfect cooking. Kudos to the staff: an absolutely recommended experience!
07/11/2025: Good place, dedicated dough, not excellent but a good product. The location is the only thing: the bathroom is a bit hidden. I would remove the fake plant that creates confusion. Otherwise, the dining room is modern and the staff are friendly. The dessert I tried, ricotta and figs, had nothing ricotta in it but more cream. For the rest, nothing to add. I don't recommend the table at the entrance on cool evenings because every time you open the door, you get cold, but a divider could solve this.
Also worth trying for takeout.

07/10/2025: We went to Il Cantuccio again last night and had such a great evening! As a starter, we shared patate e peperoni - absolutely delicious - along with the house herb pizza bread.
For the main course, I had a Pizza Caprese, which was amazing - I really love their dough! For dessert, I couldn’t resist a classic Tartufo di Pizzo Pistacchio - the perfect finish to a wonderful meal.
We had called ahead to reserve a table, and as always, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended spot for an authentic and relaxed Italian dinner! 🍕💚
28/09/2025: My motorbike had a problem with a cracked oil pan. My partner and I were greeted at closing time, refreshed with two huge sandwiches, and without paying, he offered to take his car too...an angel on earth!! That evening, we returned to the restaurant, and I also discovered he was a fantastic chef. Prime meat cooked to perfection. I will gladly return to Messina, not only for the excellent food but also to meet a truly special person again. You managed to turn a disaster into a wonderful experience. Thank you, Vincenzo.
