We had lunch at this restaurant, although we had booked in advance. The fried foods were good, along with excellent prosciutto and goat. The fresh pasta, with mushrooms, ragù, and amaranth, was also very well cooked. Given the typical setting, I would have spent more time on the food and the explanation of the dishes, but since it was Sunday and the place was packed, I think that was impossible. The house wine was very pleasant. The only flaw: the wait between courses was very long.

An authentic restaurant serving local food and wine. We were even treated to an impromptu pasta making demo, interactive of course - and then ate the fruits of our labour! Thank you so much for a great evening 😊

Excellent food! Friendly staff!
We ate three house appetizers, two baked potatoes, and three first courses: macaroni with wild boar ragù and two tricolor pasta dishes with porcini mushrooms. A liter bottle of water, a liter of house wine, and three coffees were complimentary.
Everything was really fresh and delicious. We were very satisfied. We paid €33 per person.

We returned to this restaurant in the center of the village after a few years, welcomed by the owner who expertly guided us through the choice of dishes.
Differing opinions among the diners (8) regarding the quality and originality of the dishes... I personally really enjoyed the roast goat.
The cost-benefit ratio leaned a bit... towards the price.
It's never worth ordering "center courses"; the classic individual portions are better.
The village is always lovely.

Beautiful place... I enjoyed the excellent food.
A traditional restaurant in the heart of Civita, it's practically the first restaurant on the right as you enter the village. Beautiful location and friendly owners. I'll definitely be back.

We had lunch at Kamastra with friends and had a wonderful meal, especially their specialty, goat... phenomenal. The head waiter, Maria, is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to detail. We'll be back.
