05/05/2026: We visited Il Peperoncino Pizzeria da Asporto and were very satisfied! There were three of us and we ordered three pizzas: Salsiccia Fresca, Golosa, and Diavola. All the pizzas were very good, with well-made dough and fresh ingredients. The flavor was rich and well-balanced. For drinks, we had two 0.33-cl Peroni beers and a 0.33-cl can of Coca-Cola. Everything was served cold and quickly. The wait time was about 10 minutes, really quick. Even though it's a takeout pizzeria, we ate there—the atmosphere was simple but pleasant. The total bill was €27, a great price for the quality and quantity. Recommended!

I recommend the octopus with potatoes, octopus Luciana-style, cod verbicarise, and, above all, the paccheri with octopus. Everything is incredibly fresh, plentiful, and beautifully plated. The service is prompt and attentive. Roberto's direction is excellent, and the synergy between the chefs, women from days gone by, is fantastic. Unique flavors, a must try! 5 well-deserved stars!

09/09/2025: It's a pub located in Scalea, right near the historic center. It's a family-run place, and the staff are very kind and always available. The food they serve is very good, with local and authentic products. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: We spent €43 for four people and ate really, really well. We arrived hungry, nervous because we didn't know where to eat, and confused because we didn't know what to eat. When we arrived, they gave us a really nice welcome. I don't know if it's family-run, but they made me feel that way—really kind and adorable. The three of us created our own burgers, and we were all four satisfied with what we ate. The cover charge is €1, very cheap—I'm mentioning this because it costs a lot in other places. Honestly, I really appreciated it. The price is fair, the food is good, the music is great, and the restrooms are super clean. Highly recommended. We arrived by chance on that street, so we didn't book. I don't think it's necessary, but maybe it depends on the time of day.

05/06/2026: We tried it by chance while browsing online reviews for vegan/vegetarian options (the latter available on the menu). Even though we hadn't booked, they were willing to provide a vegan option other than the classic grilled vegetables. The seafood dishes (including local ones) are delicious; the octopus alla Luciana and swordfish are recommended. The homemade strawberry granita is a must-try. We'll definitely return if we book, as the owner and chef are happy to create an entire vegan menu. Average-high prices.

The fried calamari, however, wasn't particularly satisfying. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and quick with their service. The prices were fair, in line with the quality offered and the sea-view location. Overall, a positive experience.
