Convito Ristorante Tipico
Sangineto
23/05/2026: A pleasant experience; the atmosphere is intimate and refined, considering it's a small restaurant (about 18-20 seats), run with passion by Mr. Francesco.
The dishes are well-prepared and beautifully plated, and the prices are reasonable.
The only caveat: frozen products aren't marked.
In any case, a good restaurant... Recommended.

LECIS 2.0 pinsa & drink
Sangineto
Personale cordiale.
Da ritornarci
Consigliatissimo

Mosquito American Bar
Sangineto
06/12/2025: I returned here only in my mind, after two years, because all the disgust I'd experienced in that place suddenly flooded back to me. It was like a disgusting flash, so strong that I had to stop and say:
"I have to warn everyone. I have to tell them what I went through."
Entering that place, that time, was like plunging into a nightmare of filth and rudeness. The croissants were the height of disaster: hard as construction materials, inedible, aggressive even to look at. Every bite was torture.
The filling—a gelatinous, disturbing shadow—seemed to have come from a place the human mind should never imagine. Bland and disgusting at the same time: an almost "admirable" result, if it hadn't been so stomach-churning.
The place... good heavens, the place.
A concentration of filth that assailed you as soon as you stepped inside: nauseating odor, sticky floors, filthy tables. An environment that gave the impression of having been abandoned and neglected for years, without anyone bothering to clean even by mistake.
The feeling was that of being in a place where hygiene had never even existed as an idea.
And then the staff.
The one that still makes my blood boil.
A short waiter, that dwarf who couldn't speak a word of Italian, who seemed to embody absolute disinterest: zero attention, zero politeness, zero respect. He treated customers as if they were a burden, a nuisance, someone to be deliberately ignored.
Abrupt, hostile, annoying.
Every gesture, every look, every word exuded such unbearable arrogance that it poisoned the entire environment more than the rest of the place put together. That awkward individual was like a dark cloud that fell upon you as soon as you tried to ask for something.
It was such a negative experience, so irritating, and so dirty (in every sense of the word) that it remained etched in my memory like an impossible stain. I've never forgotten the discomfort, anger, and revulsion I felt there.
And now comes the best part.
This summer, I happened to pass by the Mosquito again... and found it closed.
Completely.
Locked shut.
And I can't deny it: I breathed a gigantic sigh of relief. A moment of authentic, sincere, liberating joy.
Finally, after years, that source of sloppiness and rudeness had closed its doors.
Finally, that nightmare was over for everyone.
And you know what?
Seeing it closed was, without exaggeration, one of the best things about the entire vacation.
17/07/2025: We waited for an hour, seeing no sign, and the app said it was open. As soon as we approached the entrance, we realized it was under renovation. What a disappointment.
PS: Run away.
