11/08/2025: Perfect experience. The food is superb, the service is nice and effective. We celebrated there our daughter's 16 birthday and due to the lovely waitress Tanya the band sang a song for her. Thank you Tanya! Thank you Senior Fulvio for your amazing place and the best fish you catch , not to mention your drumming abilities!

10/08/2025: Simply perfect. I've often dined at this restaurant and have always been extremely satisfied. The dishes are delicious and they always offer new dishes. The wait staff is always available to accommodate your requests, and the sea view makes everything even better.

20/07/2025: This restaurant enjoys a unique location with a splendid view of the village and the sea. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant, and you'll immediately want to return to see, or see again, the Roseto sea at sunset, where the sky and sea blend together. The staff is extremely friendly, and the dishes are prepared by combining tradition with a pleasant touch of innovation. The dishes are limited, but made with fresh, high-quality ingredients; the slow-cooked pork cheek and the orecchiette with mussel pesto and crumbled taralli are delicious.

20/07/2025: Returning to this restaurant for the second time a week later, we once again had excellent food and a wonderful welcome. My frisella montanara was delicious, and my wife's Calabrese mussel soup was tasty and fresh, as was everything else. We washed it down with an excellent Calabrian wine. The service was attentive and very friendly. Compliments to the chef and management. Highly recommended!

03/08/2025: Eating at Cugino isn't just about enjoying local specialties; it's an experience. We arrived at 2:30 PM on an unassuming Friday and were greeted by a large, imposing man, Cesare, who immediately seated us and served us fresh water and bread. Being called "cousins" by a local restaurateur was fun, but being treated as such was truly incredible. We should have grabbed a quick bite on our way to Tropea, but the Calabrian hospitality prevailed, and we arose at 4:00 PM after appetizers, a first course, a second course, a side dish, dessert, coffee, and a liqueur. In a world of frenetic life, this little corner of paradise brought us back to tranquility and the pleasure of enjoying a meal, with the cool breeze and local passersby greeting other diners seated at the outdoor tables. Cesare is a lover of cooking "the way it used to be," with kind and helpful manners, never lacking in professionalism and friendliness, and accommodating our every request. The food was superb, we'll return to Calabria just to have lunch with our new cousin! Thank you and see you soon!

05/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant, and I must say that from my first contact with the lady taking orders (I believe she's also the owner), I got the feeling it wasn't exactly a welcoming environment... but, aside from the owner's dislike, she immediately informed us there was no menu and that the choice could only be made within a first or second course, which had to accompany the appetizer. If, as in my case, I didn't want a first or second course, they couldn't just serve the appetizer. By the way, the much-vaunted and described appetizer actually consisted of two courses of fried bread dough in different shapes, one bruschetta with a special topping (cherry tomatoes and pepper pieces), and a plate with four slices of salami, one of capocollo, and one of pancetta (considering that the appetizer was for two people). The second course of meat was rather meager. We added 1.5 liters of water. Wine from a plastic container, all for the modest sum of €70.00. Considering the location and what we ate, it seemed excessive to me....

10/08/2025: The outside atmosphere is very quaint and romantic. The staff is excellent, not to mention the manager, Niccolò, who is polite, attentive, and kind to everyone. He knows his stuff. The inside is very spacious and has plenty of seating. The cuisine is typical of Calabria, Naples, and other regions. I highly recommend it. Congratulations! I'll be back again.

24/07/2025: Trovato grazie a questa App non è semplicissimo da raggiungere anche se, fortunatamente, lungo la strada ci sono delle indicazioni proprietarie. Bravi i ragazzi che lo gestiscono, gentili ed accoglienti. Ero l’unico commensale vista la caldissima giornata afosa ma ho potuto pranzare senza problemi. Ottimo il cibo, pochi piatti, ciò che ho provato molto buono, ottimo il pane. Prezzi corretti.

22/07/2025: Discovered by chance because it's very close to our B&B, we loved it so much we went there two nights in a row. The food is simply exquisite: everything is fresh, impeccably cooked, and in truly generous portions (the likes of which you don't see anymore). Very friendly and super-fast service. Very fair prices. The location is intimate and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.
