Pleasantly surprised by the splendid view from the historic center overlooking the sea of ​​beautiful Amantea, next to the Monumental Church of San Bernardino, we had a truly enjoyable experience in a warm and welcoming setting, with attentive and attentive service. The tonnarello with scampi and asparagus deserves a special mention, rising to the level of true excellence of flavor: a dish in which freshness, balance, and expert culinary art blend harmoniously. A proposal that expresses authentic culinary culture, where the local tradition and the authenticity of the products blend perfectly with the aromas of the sea and its gastronomic treasures. Danilo, the owner, is knowledgeable and passionate, always ready to recommend the best dishes and make you feel at home. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a splendid sea view, perfect for enjoying a relaxing lunch or dinner. If you're in Amantea and want fresh seafood, this place is a must. Highly recommended: the braised octopus with pumpkin cream, "u pignatiallu," the arancino, and the red shrimp risotto... not to mention all the fresh daily specials! A must-try, we'll be back again! 🌊🍽️

And I'll tell you why: I don't eat everything, so I asked for a children's menu consisting of pasta with simple sauce and cutlet, but they refused. In fact, they forced me to order the food from the set menu. The appetizers started arriving right away, and it was as if they had them ready because they arrived right away as soon as we sat down. After the first courses, we got up and left.

We went in fearful of spending a fortune, but instead, we've never spent so little at a seafood restaurant by the sea. Compliments also to the waiter who served us. Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: Extremely long wait just to order, equally biblical wait for the main courses. I had spaghetti with clams, which was very good but had sand and even pieces of clams on the plate. I ordered grilled sausages for the kids, but one arrived, and to make up for lost time, another one arrived raw. Terrible experience, the only positive thing was the quality of the food.

The interior is new, well-designed and welcoming, with friendly service and excellent recommendations for the dishes offered. The chef experiments and offers new dishes that are never boring and very good. Yesterday I tried the new first course with anchovies, pecorino crotonese, toasted breadcrumbs, and manzo pepper. What can I say? Excellent. This is a restaurant I've known for over 30 years, and it has reinvented itself to keep pace with new culinary trends. It's a must-try for me every time I visit Roseto.

They wouldn't let me book for two people because, "If there's just two of you, we'll find you a table right away, no need to book." As a result, I was given a table near the door on a very cold evening, and I had to dine in my jacket. It's a shame, because the ingredients are truly delicious.

07/12/2025: We call to make a reservation (there are 3 of us), and they tell us it's not possible, there are only a few of us.... Well, On the menu they say they make 100% whole wheat pizzas. They say they ran out of dough (at 8:00 PM), well.... 3 stars, and I'm generous.
