01/08/2026: The best seafood restaurant in town. It's like being with family. From classic spaghetti with clams to experimental and sophisticated recipes. And what can I say, the fried foods are amazing. Absolutely not to be missed.

07/07/2026: I'm only reviewing the service, also because unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, much less ordering takeout because they don't have a menu to view. I can only say that the waiter or whoever answered the phone was unprofessional and uncooperative, dismissing the issue by saying they were already full, perhaps too full even for takeout. I suggest you update this, also because if someone wants takeout, they don't want to come to the restaurant first to book and then come back to get the reservation.

09/09/2025: It's a pub located in Scalea, right near the historic center. It's a family-run place, and the staff are very kind and always available. The food they serve is very good, with local and authentic products. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: We spent €43 for four people and ate really, really well. We arrived hungry, nervous because we didn't know where to eat, and confused because we didn't know what to eat. When we arrived, they gave us a really nice welcome. I don't know if it's family-run, but they made me feel that way—really kind and adorable. The three of us created our own burgers, and we were all four satisfied with what we ate. The cover charge is €1, very cheap—I'm mentioning this because it costs a lot in other places. Honestly, I really appreciated it. The price is fair, the food is good, the music is great, and the restrooms are super clean. Highly recommended. We arrived by chance on that street, so we didn't book. I don't think it's necessary, but maybe it depends on the time of day.

25/08/2025: What can I say about this place? I had the pleasure of staying one night in Cosenza and dining at Mostò, chosen on the recommendation of some people I met by chance. It was a truly pleasant experience. Aside from the excellent quality of the food I enjoyed (they accommodated my request, even though it wasn't allowed on the menu), I appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the owner and her employees, who demonstrate a love for their work and a special attention to their customers. The atmosphere is intimate, and you feel perfectly at ease despite the presence of other patrons. It has all the makings of a success, and that's what I sincerely wish for everyone who works with the business.

21/08/2025: A restaurant right in the city center, the staff was welcoming and kind (we felt right at home). We were treated to a very good entree: we had gnocchi (really good, with a delicate and perfectly balanced flavor), roasted cod (delicious), and grilled caciocavallo silano with mushrooms (special, especially if you love cheese). The rosé wine was very good. Very good value for money considering the quality of the ingredients.

21/04/2026: Well, what can I say? An excellent pastry shop, both in terms of its appearance and quality. The cake came out exactly as I imagined it and was delicious. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

05/05/2026: We chose this pizzeria based on its strong reviews on Google Maps, which was our main criterion. According to the listed hours, it should have been open from 5:00 PM, so my wife and I arrived at 5:15. However, it was clear the place wasn’t quite ready yet, only dim evening lighting and no real sign of being open. When we approached a staff member to ask in English, he replied, “I don’t speak English,” in English which was both confusing and came across as rather unfriendly. That first impression was disappointing, especially combined with the mismatch in opening hours. Fortunately, another staff member helped us place the order, and later we had the chance to meet the owner. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, we spoke first in English and then even switched to German. His attitude completely changed our experience. The pizza itself was genuinely delicious, but this visit really highlighted how important communication is in the service industry. We were close to leaving a low rating despite the food, but the owner truly turned things around. Thanks to him, we can now confidently say this is a great place with excellent pizza. A small suggestion: aligning opening hours and investing in staff communication could make a big difference, as online ratings strongly influence whether new customers decide to visit. Overall, a very tasty experience with a valuable lesson in hospitality.
