22/01/2026: Our visit to Osteria San Francesco on June 8th, 2025, was a wonderful experience. Francesco welcomed us warmly and offered us seats on the terrace. I had the impression he was a little surprised that we wanted to eat there with 10 people. He immediately called his brother Massimo, who prepared the kitchen. Several other helpers also arrived to assist Massimo with the cooking. The Osteria is somewhat hidden away on a small, steeply rising road. The dining rooms aren't very large, but there's also a grotto, a room carved directly into the mountainside. Francesco and Massimo are very friendly and they made our evening truly enjoyable. The food, prepared by Massimo, was excellent. It's safe to say that the Osteria team knows how to cook. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

23/03/2026: Where quality meets heart! Finding a grill restaurant that combines the quantity of an all-you-can-eat menu with such high quality is a rarity worth sharing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome in a place where cleanliness and order are immediately apparent. The service was impeccable: surprisingly fast service combined with the kindness and courtesy of the waiters, who were able to offer us the best advice. The culinary experience is a journey through authentic flavors, starting with a truly excellent appetizer of typical Calabrian specialties, which prepares the palate for the true highlight: the meat platter. We began with a delicious first course of pork, including pancetta, sausage, and capicollo, before moving on to an amazing slice of beef. A much-appreciated touch was the hot griddle brought to the table, allowing those who wish to finish cooking the meat to their liking. The whole thing was washed down with an excellent house wine, perfect for enhancing the authenticity of the dishes. A must-try for those seeking true grilled specialties served with love. 11/04/2026: We went early (11.30am) to ensure a table as I knew any later and we would have to wait. Service was great and friendly, food was excellent. We had the spaghetti alla frutti de mar, spaghetti vongole and the spaghetti with tomato and crab. Seafood was unbelievably fresh and the spaghetti was al dente and salty. Wonderful food.

10/04/2026: We went for dinner and I highly recommend it!! Fishmonger and fry shop with kitchen!! We had the mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and French fries!! Generous portions and good quality!! Excellent value and quality!! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos! But if you're in Naples, stop by and you'll see people eating outside!

12/03/2026: I own a bistro, and I must honestly say that the fish I ate tonight was probably some of the best I've ever eaten. The wine selection is enviable, if not absurd, and the quality, for the price, is worthy of much more prestigious restaurants. Not only recommended, but I'd even go as far as to say A MUST if you're in the area.

28/02/2026: We ordered the tasting menu for €38 and it was an experience beyond our expectations. Dishes were meticulously crafted with top-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. We went in fearful of spending a fortune, but instead, we've never spent so little at a seafood restaurant by the sea. Compliments also to the waiter who served us. Highly recommended.

27/01/2026: I ate at this restaurant recommended by friends. It was my first time at this restaurant on Via Piave 133 in Cosensa. We were a group of seven. I immediately noticed the owner's hospitality, the cleanliness, and above all, the cuisine. The fish was cooked with simplicity and harmony, with a balance of flavors and imaginative presentation. 25/03/2026: The staff is incredibly rude, arrogant, and liars, especially those at the cash register. They lie and misrepresent the orders. Not to mention a wine they say they don't have, but they do have it, and then they don't bring it to you. Then they bring it to you when they want it. Not even if they were supposed to give it away.

09/03/2026: Excellent experience at Nettuno restaurant in Rende. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and always available. The food is truly delicious, with well-prepared dishes and fresh ingredients. The prices are also very fair for the quality. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: The food is just enough to keep you from starving, but the quality is truly embarrassing. Considering the price, it's a terrible value. There are many other, much better restaurants in Amantea: my advice is to stop at the restaurants in the square just before arriving here, or choose any other place in the area, because you're unlikely to eat worse. It was lunch, but after finding worms in the appetizer, our hunger and desire to stay completely disappeared. Despite this, we waited for the main courses anyway, which unfortunately turned out to be equally disappointing: flavorless and decidedly poor quality. Without exaggeration, it was absolutely the worst place I've ever eaten at in Amantea... and probably one of the worst of my life. A totally negative experience. 🚫🍽️

06/03/2026: A very welcoming and elegant restaurant, with a refined and pleasant atmosphere. Despite our late reservation for a large group (there were 25 of us), the restaurant was accommodating: we had initially booked for 1:30 PM but later asked to extend our reservation to 2:15 PM, and we were met with no problem. Upon our arrival, a room was reserved for us, although we were divided into four tables, an understandable choice to better manage such a large group. The service staff were always very kind, but unfortunately the wait was truly excessive: it took us over four hours to finish the meal. During the service, several bottles of wine ran out, forcing us to change labels several times and mix three or four different wines. Dessert was also a small disappointment: the tiramisu cream had run out, and some desserts arrived presumably hastily prepared, with the ladyfingers still quite hard. That said, the quality of the food was excellent, as was the atmosphere and the welcoming atmosphere. For this very reason, we believe the restaurant has great potential, but that the service and organization, especially with large groups, could be improved.
