20/05/2025: First we called to make a reservation, but the woman on the phone hung up twice after hearing me speak in English. We were very persistent and went without reservation anyway. And good thing we did - the waiter was very polite and friendly (and spoke English), and the meat was really tender and perfectly prepared.

20/07/2025: The pizza was excellent, just needing a little more cooking, but the ice creams weren't up to par. I don't recommend the tartufo di pizzo, as it's just a piece of ice cream cut from a tub. I also don't recommend the millefeuille, which is a mess with chocolate icing instead of chips. The cheesecake was good, but it was all melted because we were told it hadn't had time to cool. 🤔

20/07/2025: We stopped by chance to eat a quick meal and found ourselves in a very welcoming environment, first of all Federica who was able to recommend a hearty dinner, starter, first and second course of delicious local products and grilled meat cooked impeccably... we will return, I recommend it

21/07/2025: This restaurant was recommended by a local resident who stated that it has the absolute best authentic calabrese dishes in Amantea. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere and service. We’ll definitely be back.

15/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato la pizza che è arrivata diversa dalla nostra preferenza sul menù, servizio disorganizzato camerieri impacciati vino caldo propongono il ghiaccio, assolutamente non ci ritornerei.

16/07/2025: A very nice place right in the city center. A friend and I had an aperitif: excellent wine, which we paired with delicious homemade fries. The staff is friendly and very attentive.

12/07/2025: A real gem... in the center of town. Extensive menu with local products. As a celiac, I'm very pleased with all the options that can be converted to gluten-free. Even the dessert. Everything was excellent. The staff was very kind, especially Giovanni, who gave us excellent advice.

02/08/2025: A truly pleasant experience at the Kamastra restaurant! The food is excellent, with typical local dishes prepared with care and using genuine ingredients. The authentic flavors of Lucanian tradition were a wonderful discovery. The prices are also more than fair, considering the quality of the food and service. We had a small issue, but everything was promptly resolved at the cashier with kindness and professionalism. Otherwise, it's a welcoming place where I would gladly return.

It is a truly unique place, carefully cared for both inside and outside. The cuisine is excellent: the dishes are prepared with care and passion, in full respect of the Calabrian tradition, and you can perceive the quality of the raw materials in every course. The staff is always kind and helpful, with a special mention for the owner, who stands out for his professionalism, courtesy and hospitality. And this is precisely what makes the difference: the feeling of being welcomed with respect and attention. It has now become my point of reference for every important occasion.

Locale pulito,prezzi onesti. Lo consiglio. Uno dei locali dove si mangia bene il pesce con qualità e prezzi onestissimi. Primi con aspetto da gourmet.
