05/10/2025: A renowned beach club in Villapiana. Even though it's the end of the season (only one row of umbrellas left and many of the facilities have been removed), I noticed the owners' friendly attitude and great courtesy. The beach club is a bit dated but welcoming. Everything about the beach and sea is fine. Worth a visit.
01/10/2025: Friendly owners, always cheerful and helpful. When we're in Calabria, we love spending our beach days here in late summer 👍🏼

27/01/2026: I went for a birthday party. The place is welcoming, with young, yet very experienced, waiters. The food is excellent. Nothing to complain about, but it's quite difficult to get to. It's located in a small village with winding roads and an isolated area. There's little advertising around and it's not very recognizable. The menu is limited but very good. The calamarata is interesting.
16/01/2026: I visited the restaurant as an outside professional for set-up. The staff was polite and helpful throughout, unlike many of my colleagues who didn't respect the work of others. Even though I haven't eaten there, the location is definitely worth it. Recommended.

10/01/2026: If you're looking to visit the historic center of Cosenza, Trattoria Calabria Bella, a name that speaks for itself, is the place to be. Eight of us, some of whom chose the first course (strigoli or lagane), and others the second course (lamb or tagliata), were happy with their choices. The owner recommended an excellent "4 lustri" Magliocco wine.
07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant next to the cathedral. Compliments to the owner who accompanied us on our gastronomic journey. Everything was good.

06/01/2026: We had lunch with friends. We had crostini as an appetizer, pici as a first course, and fried cod as a second course. We paired it with a good bottle of white wine. Everything was delicious! The waitress was friendly. We also liked the location.
03/01/2026: I would have liked to say more. A very charming historic location, but it's marred by some rather disappointing details: the music is played on Radio RDS (a radio station like that is unheard of in a restaurant these days for a €50 per person dinner), and thus the lack of a contemporary atmosphere, matched by the very current bill. The truffle fillet was rather tough, and the paintings on the walls in a historic church lack relevance and style. Finally, if the bill is €101, you're making the customer €100 and making yourself remembered brilliantly, without asking for the euro. What a shame.

The setting is a fantastic blend of the tranquility of a mountain cabin and the fresh air and views of the countryside around San Donato di Ninea, whose historic center is just a short distance away.
The family-run business adds a great value to the experience itself and helps you explore the local cuisine, which offers a wide variety and quality.

21/10/2025: We celebrated Domenico's baptism and first birthday! It was a confirmation because we had already been there and I had fallen in love with it! Enchanting place, well-kept and characteristic! Given the weather, they warmed the atmosphere with the fireplace! I thank the owners for their kindness and availability, the service, especially Giuseppe, a man from another time! I thank the excellent cook, because she cooked delicious food and with her sweetness even prepared roasted chestnuts for us! In short, if you don't go and meet them, you're crazy ❤️ more people and activities like this!

27/08/2025: We ate here a couple of nights ago. Reservations are recommended to secure a spot on the terrace. Convenient dedicated parking is available. Very helpful staff. We had excellent, truly original pizzas. They also have good fried and grilled fish. The dessert menu is excellent, too.
23/08/2025: The staff were courteous and professional, the pizzas were high-quality, the dough well-leavened and easy to digest, and the cooking was perfect. They even let us bring our dog along. Highly recommended.

02/12/2025: Amidst the scents of the sea and authentic flavors, Vecchia Fattoria treated us to an unforgettable lunch. Daniel welcomed us with kindness and precious advice. The appetizers were rich and delicious, and the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. True quality, without frills. We'll definitely be back to try other creations and their pizza.
