We had the great pleasure of being invited to this wonderful osteria for a 90th birthday party, and we were completely thrilled. The celebration featured a rich, carefully prepared fish menu. However, my daughter and I don't eat fish—a fact the chef didn't know in advance. And that's where the true grandeur of this place shined: instead of overwhelming us, the host responded immediately with great attention, flexibility, and friendliness. Without hesitation, the kitchen created wonderful alternatives for us. We were treated to delicious appetizers, fresh, flavorful, and varied. This was followed by an exquisite pasta dish with fresh vegetables and tender strips of meat, perfectly balanced and prepared with authentic Italian style. To top it all off, we also received an excellent meat dish as a main course, truly impressive in every way. We would particularly like to highlight the staff's extreme kindness and attentiveness. Our every wish was practically anticipated—the service was truly friendly and professional. The osteria also enjoys a splendid location in the historic center of town, offering breathtaking views of the village, the surrounding hills, and the sea—a setting that makes the experience even more special. So thrilled by the excellent food and atmosphere that we returned a second time and ordered à la carte—another true pleasure, prepared with great care for both the palate and the eye. We will definitely return and can highly recommend this osteria—a place where hospitality and quality truly shine!

Good food, definitely worth returning for more. Extremely slow service, hunger pangs disappear. Warm, pleasant atmosphere in a good location. Good prices, hard to find gourmet restaurants in this area. There are no desserts, and perhaps there isn't room for very large groups.

The food is incredibly fresh and cooked without altering the original flavors. The table service is impeccable in both form and friendliness! A wonderful view and a place with attention to detail. Don't forget the wine list, which hides some fantastic gems!

In the historic center, there's a place that's more than just a tavern: it's become a meeting place, a small beating heart of community. Today, La Nicchia is elegant, well-kept, and welcoming. Alessandra and Walter have managed to do something rare: raise the bar without losing their soul. Good food, tables filled with smiles, people who happily stay even after dessert. And then there's the warmth. Human warmth, of course. But also genuine warmth. Finally, my love has found a place where he doesn't suffer from the cold. In the winter, it's truly wonderful here. Long live the pellet stoves at La Nicchia.

Sometimes good things happen by chance: the first Sunday of February 2026, with beautiful, sunny weather. I call several restaurants, between Trebisacce, Civita, and Roseto, but they're all full. Osteria La Nicchia tells me they have room. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Roseto Capo Spulico, and the view is breathtaking. We're immediately greeted with kindness and courtesy. We exchange a few words with the owner, then we choose our dishes. The service is fairly quick. The dishes are a mix of tradition and innovation, both meat and fish. A truly magnificent experience, with generous, beautifully presented, and truly delicious dishes. The price is fair for the quality. An experience worth repeating to try other delicacies.

A place with a very friendly atmosphere, the kindness of the staff deserves a special mention. We went with two dogs and it didn't cause them any problems at all, they even offered them water. The food was not only delicious, but also dazzlingly beautiful. We chose their current menu offerings and we were not disappointed! 😊
