We were just passing through but discovered an excellent agriturismo. I'll definitely be back. A quiet, well-kept place, delicious food, generous portions, and courteous and discreet staff.

It's hard to find the right words to describe how at home we felt at this splendid agriturismo. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: every dish tells a story of authenticity, with ingredients grown just steps from the table. You can truly taste the difference of zero-miles—real flavors, like those of times gone by. But what makes this place truly special are the owners: they made us feel like guests of a family, not diners at a restaurant. Their passion for what they do shines through in every detail. We will definitely return. Recommended to anyone seeking authenticity, good food, and human warmth.

We stayed for two days at the La Fontanella farmhouse in Nuppolara (Papasidero), a family-run business run with passion by Mr. Matteo and his wife, along with their four wonderful and tireless children. From the first moment, we were immersed in nature, surrounded by tranquility and authenticity. We had the pleasure of tasting traditional flavors, prepared with love and great skill, which made every meal a special experience. During our stay, we also experienced moments of pure adventure, such as rafting on the Lao River, led by the extraordinary and professional guides Danilo and Emanuele, who made the experience safe and unforgettable. Mr. Matteo also accompanied us on a charming trek in Campo Tenese, searching for truffles, together with Briciola, their affectionate dog with an exceptional nose: an authentic and fun experience that brought us even closer to the territory. What makes this place truly special is the atmosphere: you can feel the simplicity of genuine things, those that have great human value. Work is never lacking here, but it's always accompanied by a smile and the desire to make every guest feel at home. In a very short time, you feel part of a large extended family, where the welcome is spontaneous and sincere. It's a magical place that we recommend to anyone who wants to relax surrounded by nature and enjoy authentic experiences, including outdoor activities and warm hospitality. We discovered Agriturismo La Fontanella today during a motorcycle ride, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. It was an incredible surprise: the place is immersed in greenery, surrounded by an almost fairytale-like setting that revitalizes the spirit. As soon as we arrived, the warm welcome from the family-run management made us feel immediately at home. The staff stands out for their unparalleled kindness, a rare commodity these days. Moving on to the food, the experience was excellent: • First Course: Super fresh pasta topped with a fantastic wild boar ragù; the meat was incredibly tender and literally melted in the mouth. • Mixed Grill: Authentic flavors and impeccable cooking. The high-quality ingredients are clearly evident. • Dessert: An honorable mention goes to the ricotta and cherry jam tart. Without exaggeration, it's one of the best I've ever eaten in my life. The bill? Definitely fair. I honestly would have gladly paid a little more for the quality and service I received. We'll definitely be back and recommend you to anyone looking for authentic, old-fashioned cuisine in a magical place. See you soon!

For our lunch today, we chose the agriturismo with the highest Google rating, even though we were about an hour and a quarter away... and we were right! A place immersed in the Pollino nature. Kind and friendly owners. Food is completely local, generous portions. Everything is truly DELICIOUS! We promised ourselves we'd return not only for lunch, but also to stay overnight. Plus, the property organizes a variety of activities, such as trekking, rafting on the Lao River, and an adventure park. The dog Gianfilippo is especially noteworthy ♥️, super sweet and cuddly.
