11/08/2025: SANIZZO The Professor's warm welcome, the true soul of the place, makes you feel at home, creating a light and pleasant atmosphere. The food is extraordinary, truly SANIZZO, hence the title of this review. Perfectly prepared. A special mention for the Professor's paccheri bomba.

10/08/2025: A small bistro in Camigliatello run by the Falcone family, with ties to the town's well-known butcher shop. Typical local products, mostly homemade, are of good quality but not always up to the asking price. For dinner, the excellent cured meats and cheese appetizer with creamy ricotta, and the less than stellar grilled caciocavallo burger, are excellent. The prices are very high (for example, a glass of wine costs €8-9), which is difficult to justify given the direct provenance of the ingredients. One negative note about the service: one of the management members, who also takes orders, is a bit too pushy when it comes to choosing what to order. He tries to be friendly, but ends up intimidating and confusing both the customers and the waitress, who otherwise works hard. However, the professionalism of one of the owners, who stepped in to restore calm and ensure the dinner continues in a more relaxed manner, is commendable.

25/07/2025: Joya escondida con comida y servicio increíble! Teníamos las “patatas pegajosas” con champiñones porcini como aperitivo. ¡Vaya, vaya! Dios mío. Tuvimos un antipasado mixto que incluía albóndigas de berenjena, croquetas de patata, salami local y grandes quesos. Incluso la calidad de las patatas Francés eran geniales. Y la pizza es excepcional. Muy recomendable.

29/07/2025: Stasera ho deciso di trovare il gelato migliore sul lungomare di Schiavonea, leggo le diverse recensioni e decido di assaggiare tre gelati nelle tre gelaterie considerate le migliori in zona e devo dire che questa è LA MIGLIORE! Peccato che il “Croccante al rum” mi ha rovinato il tiramisù che non vedevo l’ora di assaggiare 😔 Ho sbagliato io a prendere questo gusto prima di chiedere di assaggiarlo. “Biscotto”, “Cannolo” e “Piatacchio” buonissimi. Gusti cremosi e molto molto gustosi, se riesco a ripassarci prima di partire vorrei riprendere tiramisù e assaggiare millefoglie. Il cono di 4 gusti è una cialda croccante e molto buona😋 Il commesso GENTILISSIMO oltre che molto carino😅💙❤️

28/07/2025: Siamo stati diverse volte durante le nostre vacanze a prendere il gelato. Tutti i gusti sono assolutamente da consigliare. Si kota la qualità degli ingredienti e del prodotto ed è il migliore in assoluto nella zona. Complimenti!

13/06/2025: Very good and refined food. The wine selection is very wide. The service is fast. Kindness is the order of the day. Unfortunately it is frequented by VIPs (and followers) who are not always polite but this is not the fault of the place but of the former players of the team with the black and white stripes.

06/06/2025: The food was absolutely delicious. Every course was better than the last. The fish was very fresh. The service was amazing. We had several appetizers as samples and full orders. My husband has a fish allergy, and even though we are at a very popular restaurant for Seafood, they made sure he had everything he wanted. This was our first time here visiting Calabria from the USA (Chicago), and the people made us feel like family. Best experience here in Calabria!! Thank you, Francesco and his lovely daughter, who helped translate, Elisabeta. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

03/08/2025: The food was very tasty, fresh! The price-quality ratio is excellent. Served by an English-speaking, very pleasant waiter who gave useful advice on the food. The portions are huge, we only finished the starters and half of the first courses :) we really liked it, we will definitely visit again!

18/07/2025: Pranzo business deludente Nessuna scelta perché tutto esaurito. Abbiamo ordinato 4 secondi di polipo arrostito e le porzioni sono arrivate con una base di cetrioli affettati con profumo di polipo. Sconsigliato.

07/06/2025: Infinite THANK YOU and true compliments to everyone! To say exceptional is an understatement. We had lunch on Saturday in complete tranquility and grace. Impeccable service. We enjoyed a seafood salad full of flavors in 3, two excellent spaghetti with clams and bergamot, squid with tomato sauce 'illegal' in taste, sea bass and roasted octopus. They also have excellent options for lunch for breaks and business lunches, as well as take-away for both lunch and dinner. A reality like this must be protected. True compliments to Francesca and her husband Carmine for the idea, the care and quality of everything. I'll be back very soon to surprise someone very dear to me.

26/07/2025: Faccio i complimenti ai titolari , che se non sbaglio sono anche gli Chef . Venire in questo ristorante vuol dire assaporare la Calabria autentica, quella fatta di sapori profumi e materie prime che questo Bistrot miscela alla perfezione. Assolutamente, e penso di non esagerare, il miglior giro dí antipasti Calabresi offerti in questa regione Meravigliosa. Ci vediamo al prossimo Vinitaly in the City.

21/07/2025: Siamo andati con un gruppo di amici a provare questa trattoria molto rinomata per scoprire i veri sapori autentici della Calabria, e non potevamo fare scelta migliore! La Cantina – da Patrizia è un locale storico con 56 anni di esperienza. L’atmosfera è semplice e familiare, si mangia come a casa. Abbiamo assaggiato circa 12-13 antipasti diversi, in particolare: ·      Verdura ripassata; ·      Supplì di riso, sia in bianco che al sugo; ·      Polentine al sugo d’‘nduja, piccanti al punto giusto; ·      Olive ammaccate all’insalata; ·      Patate con funghi. Tutti sapori veri, genuini, niente fronzoli. Tra i primi segnalo in particolare due veri colpi al cuore: ·      Tagliatelle con fiori di zucca e salsiccia bianca sbriciolata: delicate, profumate e ricche di gusto; ·      Gnocchi con 'nduja e caciocavallo: cremosi, piccanti al punto giusto, sapore intenso e calabrese al 100%. Tutto preparato espresso, con materie prime del posto e rispetto per la cucina di casa. Il locale è semplice, rustico, autentico. Nessuna scena, ma tanta sostanza. Il conto? Una sorpresa! Prezzi onesti, porzioni giuste, qualità alta. Consiglio di prenotare soprattutto se andate nel weekend. Noi ci torneremo senza dubbio. Grazie Patrizia e Beppe, continuate così!

27/07/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because, in my opinion, it's unfair to give less. Although the service was lacking at certain points during the evening, they lost some attention toward the end, even though the room wasn't particularly crowded. The atmosphere is air-conditioned, clean, and tidy, with well-arranged tables. The tableware and linens are worthy of a respectable restaurant. It's air-conditioned, and overall, the atmosphere is good, but nothing exceptional. The quality of the food is excellent, and the presentation is equally excellent. The wait times are reasonable. The value for money was excellent. The six of us ate everything, both meat and fish, from the appetizer to the main course with side dishes, accompanied by a pleasant local rosé whose name I don't remember. We spent €250.

29/06/2025: It's not a place for everyone, but if you want 100% Calabrian food and a local atmosphere, it's the best you'll find in Cosenza. Inexpensive, generous portions, and everything is very good. And if you can empathize with the owner and staff, you'll enjoy it even more.

03/06/2025: We had dinner at Luciano for 4, consuming two XL tourist menus. Lots of delicious things, lots of vegetable-based appetizers. We felt at home, Luciano is an exquisite person!
