01/06/2025: I've eaten pizza in many places in the world, I've eaten in many places in Italy, but this is where I ate the best pizza in my life, the view of the sunset is great but the pizza is the quintessence of flavors, perfect pizza wounds, crispy crust and soft inside, delicious local ingredients.

27/05/2025: I really appreciated the courtesy of the staff, very helpful. Nothing to complain about the pizza, excellent! As for the waiting times, I can say that I didn't wait to sit down and I received the pizza in record time. I obviously recommend booking, since the place has few tables inside and is quite crowded due to the quality of the pizza. Promoted!

Furthermore, the staff is always able to best manage even situations of great affluence - like yesterday, Sunday 11/05/2025 - without waiting times and with a truly rare courtesy and attention, reserved for each individual customer. 06/06/2025: The food was absolutely delicious. Every course was better than the last. The fish was very fresh. The service was amazing. We had several appetizers as samples and full orders. My husband has a fish allergy, and even though we are at a very popular restaurant for Seafood, they made sure he had everything he wanted. This was our first time here visiting Calabria from the USA (Chicago), and the people made us feel like family. Best experience here in Calabria!! Thank you, Francesco and his lovely daughter, who helped translate, Elisabeta. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

31/05/2025: Welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service. Very kind owner and staff. Welcoming L9cation. We ate fish... for two. And it was an exhilarating experience! Excellent quality! Very fresh appetizer! A variety of fish between cooked and raw that you are already full. Divided in two! Second: mixed grill with 6 types of fish, to say the least very tasty! The dessert: "tasty chocolate" and "peccato di gola" a delight for the palate!!! Value for money adequate to the high quality of the fish!! Highly recommended.

15/03/2025: I haven't been back to this butcher's shop with grill for years and thank goodness I'm back. Simple and welcoming environment. Staff always polite and humble. Starters different from the usual I recommend the sheep and pork kebabs, really excellent beef meatballs. Also good in sauces. Another dish that I would recommend is ribs. Excellent meat, tender like butter and delicate in taste. Come back whenever you want.

31/05/2025: Calypso restaurant in Belvedere Marittimo is a real experience! I was invited to dinner with my boss's family and the experience was incredible. The raw and fried fish appetizers were delicious and very fresh. The highlight was my “pasta con vongole”, which I asked for with the clams on the side. Even though it was a complicated request, the staff responded with excellence. The service was attentive and the atmosphere welcoming. I recommend it to everyone who visits Belvedere Marittimo.

29/05/2025: After spoiled restaurant visits on the East Coast, tonight was rather disappointing. At the beginning, we were rushed to order, and the order of dishes was not followed. After the bill was handed over, no one paid any attention to us. We left the amount and weren't even greeted as we left!

The trio of meats, the steak and the tagliatelle with ragù remain the house specialties, absolutely recommended. Many thanks also to dear Christian for the impeccable commitment he has shown. 01/06/2025: A trattoria where I found the excellence of peasant dishes from rich appetizers, homemade pasta with simple but tasty sauces and grilled meat was excellent butter even the grilled chicken .... the owner welcoming and helpful and the polite staff quick and organized at a frenetic pace because the place was packed but always very polite and kind .... the bill for the simplicity of the menu could seem high like the tagliatelle € 14 per portion but reflecting on the quality of the raw material and considering that these are homemade products so there is a significant labor work I am also satisfied with the bill and I wish this trattoria prosperity and endless work hoping to return soon 💙💪🏼

13/04/2025: Experience not up to expectations, starting from the place, a hole of a place, the bathroom is practically inside the kitchen, without toilet paper or even hand paper, the menu is ambiguous and does not clarify the prices well, then the quantities are mignon, I ordered a fry and they presented me with a gigantic dish but with only 8 calamari and 5 prawns counted, moreover without even the lemon to accompany it, never seen something like this in a fish restaurant. All this for the modest price of €19. Only the pasta is worthy of being called such. For the rest normal quality given that we are close to the sea.

11/04/2025: The restaurant is small but charming, a real pearl. The dishes prepared by Chef Giuseppe Bartucca are truly excellent. We went to the Acri wine tasting evening, refined dishes with a unique flavour. We will definitely be back to try the sushi too.

15/12/2024: Today I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Taverna del Gioachimita and I can say that I was pleasantly impressed by the experience. The dishes offered are delicious and traditional at the same time, very delicate on the palate and of great quality. The service is very attentive to customers, the owner is friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is joyful, attentive and professional. The internal location is well cared for, with attention to detail. I think it's a nice place to spend some peaceful hours, enjoying good food. I can therefore only recommend it. I will gladly return.
