This restaurant should be called "Trattoria dei Poeti del Buon Cibo." There are poets of words and there are poets of cuisine. Silvana, the owner and chef of the trattoria, is certainly one of the latter. Her dishes reflect the authentic flavors of yesteryear, prepared with passion and respect for tradition. Here you won't find "revisited," "modern," or "contaminated" cuisine, but authentic local recipes, made as they once were. During my stay in Rocca Imperiale, I couldn't find a place that better represented the local cuisine. Each dish is authentic, rich in flavor, and prepared with great care. If you're looking for true traditional cuisine, this is the place. For me, it was a wonderful discovery: a true poem for the palate.

We ate outside with a spectacular view of the square and the sea as a backdrop. The owner is a wonderful person, as is the dinner she served. A small, family-run gem, where a husband and wife team welcome guests with genuine warmth and a connection that shines through in every detail. The atmosphere is intimate and authentic, with stone walls and checkered tablecloths evoking the true tradition of Italian trattorias. Each dish tells a story of passion and simplicity: from golden, fragrant fritters to delicious montanarine with tomato and basil, to fresh cheeses accompanied by homemade jams. The mixed antipasti, featuring pickled vegetables and local cured meats, pave the way for authentic and well-balanced flavors. The desserts deserve a special mention: the fresh and fragrant lemon cheesecake and the millefeuille with cream and strawberries are the perfect finale to a lunch that feels like home and poetic. A place where time slows down and cooking becomes a gesture of love. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, friendliness, and flavors that speak of tradition.

We were greeted by Mrs. Silvana with warmth and delighted us with her dishes. The "fixed" menu was perfect for us: we were practically full from the appetizers, but we enjoyed the fantastic first courses. The desserts and liqueurs were also excellent. We had lunch at this small but welcoming trattoria, expertly guided by the very kind owners, Silvana and her husband, who recommended a delightful culinary experience featuring local and authentic ingredients. The varied and generous appetizers are not to be missed, and would justify the price of lunch in themselves. The first and second courses were excellent, and I can assure you that getting through the meal was a challenge due to the sheer size of the dishes, despite their deliciousness and authenticity. The price was excellent, and absolutely fair for what was on offer. Thank you for your kindness. Highly recommended.

Truly enchanting place. We discovered it almost by accident. The lady was truly kind and very accommodating. The cuisine is a true pleasure for the palate, authentic flavors with high-quality local products. Highly recommended.
