On this summer evening, I sat with my friends outside, where a cool breeze lingered, thanks to the recent respite from the heat. We ate quite well, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The quality-price ratio isn't great, but the experience of eating in the city center and easily taking a walk to work off the heat is worth it.

An extraordinary culinary experience from start to finish. The cuisine is simply top-notch: dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using the highest-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. Everything was paired with their own "Masseria Sette Porte" wine, which perfectly complemented every single course. And then there were the desserts, created and made by them... The service deserves absolute praise: impeccable, attentive, and professional, yet never formal or aloof. You feel pampered and at home every moment. A place that deserves full marks. Highly recommended!

Portale Cantinaccia is a guarantee of quality and taste. Everything is delicious, from the salads, which are far from simple in terms of richness and flavor, to the first and second courses, always prepared with quality ingredients and great care. The fillet steak with porcini mushrooms is a must-try, as are the tasty and well-crafted pizzas. But the real highlight of the restaurant is the desserts: an extraordinary variety of authentic artisanal delicacies, prepared with passion by Mr. Antonio. A true delight for the palate! From the millefeuille with Chantilly cream to the best gelato I've ever tasted, every dessert is an experience worth experiencing. The service is always excellent, friendly, and attentive, helping make every visit even more enjoyable. I'm from Ragusa, but whenever I'm in Catania, I always happily stop at Portale Cantinaccia. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality gastronomic experience.

The place is a bit dark and poorly lit. We had booked a table inside because dining outside on the street with cars passing by would be worse. There was no air conditioning in the place so the evening was really difficult. The pizzas were good overall even if they served one that was burnt, the same person wasn't even brought the beer he had ordered with the pizza but on the other hand it was on the bill.

A good-quality restaurant with a varied, though not particularly extensive, menu. The clientele is certainly not popular, with prices correspondingly in line.

The goulash was excellent, although a bit too spicy. The pizza was decent. The dishes from the cantinaccia were good. The only complaint... the excessive and very strong smell of truffle in the room.

Excellent food, well presented, very fast service, delicious desserts, I hope to return for dinner soon.
