Easily the best place to stay in Positano for a more authentic experience. The complimentary breakfast is fantastic along with the amazing views from every room. The staff is super responsive and helpful, including the porter service. We’ve been coming here regularly for 10+ years, and it’s impeccably maintained and clean. Can’t say enough good things about Hotel Pupetto and already planning our next visit!

I have stayed at Hotel Pupetto three times (2026, 2023, and 2015) and I absolutely love this hotel. It’s away from the busy Spiaggia Beach by the ferry dock, but only a short and very scenic 10-minute walk from the center of town. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is really good with a lot of options — and you can’t beat the view while you are eating. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a clean, quiet, affordable place to stay with an amazing view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

We returned after 30 years and the atmosphere is still the same: beautiful. The hotel is located on the beach with an excellent restaurant, and the room is well-appointed and has a terrace overlooking the sea.
