Stayed at the Pupetto for 6 nights in October. Lovely hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. Right on the beach. The quality of the food in the restaurant was magnificent. It's worth noting that it is a stretch from Positano itself though, either from the Positano beachfront or the 250-step steep walk to the top. The taxi can only take you so far. It's nothing much for younger, fitter people but not quite so easy for OAP's or younger kids which may take its toll day after day.

Gabriella was amazaing. Views were amazing. Rooms were comfortable, not luxurious. The Amalfi Coast and in particular, Positano is expensive, there is no gettting around that. We were prepared and budgeted accordingly. There are over 200 steps so, yes, get in shapes before you go. It was great inventive for us to get healthier. We loved it!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was stunning, and we loved the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The walk into the town is a very easy paved path with stunning views the entire way.

Located right at the Fornillo beach which is a more relaxing beach than the Spiaggia. The view is unbeatable, rooms are large and clean. Free Porter service provided by the hotel was a great help considering the steps of Positano (please note that the porter will expect a top). Overall, highly recommended for your stay in Positano.

It was the best experience we ever had in a hotel! The staff (especially Veronica) was super attentive from the moment we made our reservation, taking all our doubts through e-mail. Everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the room view and the breakfast. It was a really memorable stay. The location is also worth mentioning since it is not in the center of the city, it gives a little more tranquility at night, but at the same time, it is just a 10m walk from the city center.

We had a good evening at the Pupetto's. The setting is spectacular with a view of the sea directly in front of you. It was my daughter's favorite meal of the trip. I was a bit dissapointed, as I felt the ambiance was lacking. There were few patrons there, and service was very fast. Too fast for my liking. My appetizer was not finished than the main coursed arrived. All that before even my cocktail was half-finished. The Red snapper sashimi was great, but the portion was way too much! The Linguine with cacio e pepe cheese fondue, red shrimps tartare and fermented black lemon was nice, but nothing special. I even had difficulties with the red shrimp tartare which smelled a bit odd. And I found it expensive for the quality. Thus, as it was my daughter's best evening, and service was great, I'm still giving it a 4 stars.
