03/01/2026: A welcoming, family atmosphere. The owners are attentive and friendly. We went for lunch at 3:00 PM, having just arrived in Vieste, and they welcomed us with a smile. The food was excellent and the portions generous, so much so that we were happy to return.

05/03/2026: I've been to Coccaro Beach Club, and my first impression is definitely positive: the place is very nice, well-kept, and has a great aesthetic, especially for those who enjoy taking photos and enjoying a slightly more sophisticated atmosphere than your typical beach club. That said, the space isn't huge, and on some days it can feel a bit smaller than you'd expect. Unfortunately, the food also didn't entirely convince me: considering the rather high prices, I expected something more, both in terms of quality and selection. Another thing worth mentioning is that on social media it looks much larger and more scenic than it actually is in person. It's still a pleasant place to spend a few hours by the sea, but the overall experience isn't as "wow" as the online photos might suggest. In summary: a nice location but not huge, food could be improved, and prices are quite high for what you actually get.

06/04/2026: We had lunch at Villa Baroni on Easter Monday. The property offers limited parking, but a few meters ahead, there are two free public parking lots. Because it was a special day, the restaurant was very crowded, and the wait was a bit long (but we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us). The only downside was that some waiters, one in particular, was running (literally) around the room. The food was delicious; the raw fish appetizer was excellent; we highly recommend it. The view is beautiful, and after lunch, we stopped by the pool to soak up some rays. That part of the property is also very beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant on Lake Varese with about 20 people, and we were truly delighted. The menu was well thought out, the dishes were of excellent quality and carefully prepared, and the service was efficient, friendly, and always attentive. All our guests had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this place for special occasions.

07/03/2026: First of all: make a reservation – seats on the terrace and in the front, semi-open area are very popular and subject to reservation. The Nußbaumer thrives on its location, the charming staff, and the fresh cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is highly recommended! Let Moritz guide you through the wine selection – he can tell you a lot about the local wineries because he knows them personally. Also, head to the heart of the Nußbaumer – the wine shelves have much more than what's on the menu. Treat yourself to more than just a pizza and a glass of house wine. It's worth it!

01/03/2026: A discovery. I've been there twice in 3 days. There were 5 of us with 3 children and we had a great time. The staff was courteous and helpful. The food??? So much stuff. I had both their potatoes and the focaccia with stracchino and cured meat... Incredible!!! Oh, and they also have polenta! Truly a wonderful discovery!

But here we are in the contemporary era, especially after the move to the new location... beers for every palate, excellent food, fast and friendly service. You can spend entire evenings here with friends, even listening to live performances. Giorgio, the owner, is the TOP!!!!!

21/03/2026: This place was an absolute disaster. Honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We waited forever for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was completely disappointing – overcooked, bland, and just not what you expect from Italian cuisine at all. But the service was even worse. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and couldn’t even speak basic English, which made ordering unnecessarily difficult. Instead of trying to help, they just seemed annoyed the whole time. And the biggest joke? They actually charged us 2€ per person for “service” – for WHAT exactly?! We basically got no service at all. No one checked on us, we had to figure everything out ourselves, and we were treated like we were a problem. On top of that, the prices were way too high for such poor quality. Bad food, terrible service, and extra charges for nothing. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. Total tourist trap.

21/03/2026: High-quality pizza ingredients, a Roman waiter who was professional, empathetic, and kind, and possessed all the characteristics that make Italy the most hospitable and welcoming country in the world. We also had two fried zucchini flowers and two babà. The final price, in my opinion, was excessive at €70, including two medium beers, a bottle of water, and a large coffee. However, we were celebrating and didn't rely too heavily on the menu, which was carefully provided by the waiter. Last note: the receipt was properly issued. For me, that's an important piece of information. We'll gladly return.

17/02/2026: Welcoming atmosphere: the owner, Oscar, is incredibly kind and immediately puts you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. He's a fantastic person, as is his staff. Excellent dishes, typical Piedmontese fare, very fresh food, and excellent wine.

15/03/2026: Incredible restaurant, staff were extremely generous and accommodating and gave us an experience well above and beyond what was expected — a standard 3 courses ended up being more like 8 with celebratory desserts prepared for both occasions we were celebrating. Allow 3 hours+ (even for a simple a la carte) so as not to rush.

15/01/2026: We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Borgo San Jacopo for my husband’s birthday back in October. The restaurant itself is both cozy and beautiful and the service was attentive without feeling like someone was hovering over you all evening. We were given the option of ordering a la carte or a choice of 3 tasting menus with the caveat that if you choose a tasting menu the whole table must choose the same one. We went with a tasting menu and really loved the number of courses that it allowed us to sample. Favorite dishes were the ricotta snack, risotto with meatballs, the lamb loin and the salted caramel peanut bonbon at the end. The mushroom ice cream that was served with the crudités was very interesting and we also loved the house made olive oil. They really made my husband’s birthday feel special and it was one of our best meals in Italy.

For those who prefer a lighter option, they offer delicious salads. Children's menus are also available. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming.

29/03/2026: Very unique: you choose the type of pasta as the base, then there's a long list of toppings to pair with it, sorted by flavor intensity. You pay for the dish based on the topping you choose. The prices are more than reasonable and the portions are generous.

16/03/2026: We absolutely fell in love with the osteria. Every dish was a taste experience, with excellent ingredients and a touch of sophistication and experimentation. The risotto was indescribable. Add to this a stunning panoramic dining room, with just a few tables but offering a unique view of the bay. The service was friendly and helpful. We hope to return and will definitely recommend it.
