Hello 👋, We visited Rivale in Città last winter and had an impeccable experience. During our recent trip to Italy, we decided to have dinner at Il Rivale al Lago, expecting the same high standards. The atmosphere was lovely from the start, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of providing insect repellent. The starters were good, although the steak recommended by our waiter and the red wine were rather average. One dish was served with mayonnaise that unfortunately did not seem very fresh. Overall, the food was good, but the biggest disappointment was the service at the end of the evening. We waited nearly 40 minutes for the bill, despite the restaurant not being busy. Perhaps it was simply an off night, but for a restaurant of this level, we expected a more polished and attentive experience. Despite this, the location and atmosphere remain beautiful, and we hope to have a better experience on a future visit.

A very elegant and refined atmosphere, with top-notch service. Excellent cheese selection, exquisite fillet steak Rossini, delicious gelato, and delicious pastries. The warm homemade bread is excellent. Prices are in line with the quality of the food, the service offered, and the charming location overlooking the lake. In my opinion, a top rating.
