19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, very tasty, top-notch service. We stumbled upon it by chance; we had a reservation at Alice's. It was a very lucky coincidence, though.

19/10/2025: A traditional trattoria with simple decor, but not a very large space (it's best to book online). In mid-October, we ate on the veranda (protected by plastic sheeting and slightly heated). Excellent, simple, and traditional food, including vegetarian options; the hummus is excellent. Generous portions and more than reasonable prices. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend it, especially since it's outside the usual tourist area.

18/10/2025: Do not go if you are a tourist! They refused to give us a table even though multiple tables were free, didn’t even answer us or look at us. They told us to leave. Very rude!!!

16/12/2025: A wonderful experience. I chose the "local tastes" tasting menu, which I found very enjoyable and interesting. The service was impeccable. The view is splendid. Definitely a place I'd happily return to.

The staff is impeccable: well-trained waiters, present at the right time, and always friendly. The real strength, however, is the cuisine. The chef demonstrates an extraordinary skill: balanced dishes, clean flavors, impeccably presented, and ingredients that speak for themselves. Each course is delivered to the table with a care that truly makes the difference. A restaurant that combines professionalism, quality, and taste in every detail. Highly recommended.

19/11/2025: Everything was excellent. The service from the wait staff was excellent, and the dishes were exceptional, both in presentation and taste.

05/12/2025: I didn't really like what they did. The bill was 81 and they charged 86, not because of the extra 5 francs, but that's absolutely not done, because if a customer wants to leave a tip, they leave one. But that's stealing. Making fun of things is not okay. The service leaves much to be desired and isn't the best.

23/11/2025: Quiet little place, with a terrace in the summer. The food is excellent, the portions are adequate and you don't have to wait long for them. The staff and service are great, I've been to such an excellent place in a long time! The atmosphere is family-friendly, a real Italian atmosphere! I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart!!

22/10/2025: Profoundly disappointing experience. This is an old-school restaurant with a balanced menu and authentic staff — something I usually appreciate. However, in nearly 11 years of Russia’s war against Ukraine, it’s natural to expect a basic level of sensitivity toward Ukrainians who do not want to be addressed in Russian. Hearing this language is painful — it is associated with blood and death. Despite our polite request not to be spoken to in Russian, the restaurant sent a female staff member who insisted on using it, even delivering a short speech to justify her choice. That response showed a profound lack of empathy and cultural awareness. A place that values hospitality should respect its guests’ boundaries and the tragic reality that defines them. There are plenty of other places in the same price range with better food, service, and atmosphere, where respect and understanding still mean something.

27/11/2025: food was good, but a bit pricey they have some very nice local wines special mention to the waiter who served us, he gave us recommendations about dishes and wine and treated us with great kindness we also loved the decoration and they were playing bossa nova, everything was very pleasant

30/10/2025: Ate here on a Monday evening and I was one of two tables sat in the entire place and was the last to leave which made for a pretty flat experience. It’s a gorgeous restaurant tucked away in a courtyard across the street from Palazzo di Normanni. Staff were very friendly. I had the carbonara and I found it too salty.

07/09/2025: An oasis in Positano. We stopped for a break, excellent cocktails, and signature snacks. The staff is young, friendly, and very professional.

07/09/2025: Great location and exceptional service! There are many shops around the hotel and it’s very close to the beach. Lucio was awesome and helped us book an excursion to Capri which made our trip extra memorable. We also highly recommend taking a sunset cruise, it was the highlight of our visit. We truly had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary in Positano!

23/11/2025: I came with my friends to celebrate my anniversary... I hadn't planned anything for lunch. Then I saw this incredible place online and I can only say it was the perfect combination of friendliness, love for what they do, and a spectacular location. I'll gladly return to relive the emotions I felt during that "not simply" culinary journey... forever in my heart ❤️
